We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this lovely place. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The facilities were quaint and our accommodations were great. We were within walking distance to all the spots we wanted to see downtown and in the inner harbour. Looking forward to coming back and checking out the new expansion.

Fantastic all around. All staff friendly and inviting. The breakfast and afternoon appetizers are top notch. Our room was perfect and the claw foot bathtub was a dream. The facility is clean and following all protocols. Close to downtown and the inner harbour, we don't have a car and everything was walkable. The access to the rooms is by stairs only in the main building, they are expanding and I believe it may have an elevator for future planning. Check out there website for planning your next stay, booking was an easy process. Highly recommend. $$-$$$

Stayed for a couple of nights as part of a last minute getaway. Location was close to downtown; service was fantastic, and ambience was great. I particularly liked the large library, and complimentary breakfast and afternoon appetizer. The layer of snow we received added a nicely to the overall feeling of the place. Will return.

The staff at Abigail's hotel were attentive to all our needs and helped us with any issues or questions that we had. We had some problems with our automobile, and the front desk was absolutely wonderful in helping us. The Ruby King Room was spacious, the bathroom was beautiful, and the services were amazing. The complimentary breakfast was delicious as well.
The location was very close to downtown Victoria and we could walk to everything in the city.
I would recommend Abigail's hotel to anyone and will definitely come here again if I am in town!

The staff at Abigail’s is beyond comparison! A special thank you goes to concierges Chris and Hillary, chef Gerald (the best breakfasts ever!) and the service from Robin at breakfast each morning. The rooms are quiet and romantic and so many thoughtful gestures were gifted us during our stay. We also appreciated the fact that we were able to easily navigate around town from Abigail’s convenient location. We highly recommend Abigail’s and will be returning!

Iam glad a colleague recommended Abigail's Hotel for my recent visit to Victoria. A one of a kind hotel, walking distance from DT Vic. Your accommodation includes a gourmet 3 course breakfast, coffee and tea station, and a charming suite. If you want something with character and friendly staff then you should stay here.

My husband and I stayed here in July and it was hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms were extremely spacious and clean, and the location was really conveniently walkable to downtown Victoria and the waterfront. The highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing breakfasts which are included with every stay. The menu changes every day and the food is so delicious and gourmet. Abigail’s Hotel made our trip to Victoria extra enjoyable, and we are already planning our next visit.

My wife and I have stayed at many fine hotels here and abroad but this is the finest B&B boutique hotel experience we’ve had. We can’t believe it’s taken us this long to discover Abigails. They check all the boxes as far as attention to detail goes. Outstanding turn of the century charm/decor along with incredible breakfast dishes and generous appetizers in the late afternoon. All with linen cloths and proper cutlery. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could and look so forward to our next visit. A hidden jewel off the beaten track but within walking distance to everything. Great staff too

This is a great, quiet little hotel that is like staying in England. Easy walking to so many places, its quiet, clean, and very friendly.
Amazing breakfast, airconditioned rooms, and luxurious bathrooms. Most comfortable bed I have slept in. I have stayed here a couple of times and its turning into the first place I check when I am coming to Victoria.
Don't worry about the small looking driveway, there is lots of room to turn around.

Staying at Abigail was the highlight of our trip to Victoria. The hotel looks like traveling back in time and has very personal touches to everything. Breakfast was outstanding and they also leave little treats inside the room. The room was immaculately clean and location is also good. Definitely recommend.

Where do I start . . . Wow! We stayed here on our first two nights of vacation and I already know the rest of the places we stay at will not compare. The staff is very helpful and willing to please. The lobby espresso an amazing surprise. The library and DVD library, awesome. Hand written card in the room was nice. Appetizers in the late afternoon, delicious. The breakfast choices and quality was amazing. The room was spectacular. Even the bed sheets were a topic of discussion as they were so soft (the hotel's FAQ tells you where to buy them) Bath tub for two was comfy.

Would give Abigail's 10 stars if I could!
We stayed here over a weekend and it was delightful, even during Covid. They had great procedures in place and it felt very safe.
Staff is great, food is great (breakfast in the room, wow), rooms are nice and cozy. Also very close to the city center. The bed and the robes are SO dreamy. Wish I could've taken both home with me.
Can't say enough good things about this hotel! Would recommend absolutely everyone to stay here.

Absolutely in love with Abigail's. One of the best places I've ever stayed. We did an overnight this past weekend and our stay at Abigail's helped contribute to us having an overall lovely weekend in Victoria. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the common areas were very warm and comforting, the rooms very unique and beautiful (+ amazing linens!), and the food (evening appetizers and morning breakfast) absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough good things - we loved it.

What a unique place to stay in Victoria. Built in the 1930s, this Tudor style hotel has 23 rooms.
Check-in & check-out was smooth and friendly.
Room was adorable. Older, plush furniture, yet modern comfort & linens.
Treats on the bed to snack on.
Wonderful three course breakfast with fresh baked goods, mimosas, etc.
Sitting room/library where you can relax and have tea
Adults only
I missed the light evening appetizers.
Short stroll to Fairmont Empress
Only con we experienced, was our bathroom was tiny.
I wish I could have stayed longer.

We recently stayed one night at Abigail's Hotel. Quaint, charming hotel and a short walk to the Inner Harbour area. Upon checking in, we were given a tour of the interior amenities and shown to our room. Nice, personal touch! And had cookies waiting for us in our room too! Our room was very cozy and the bed was so comfortable. There are no elevators here, but we were on the second floor, so not an issue. Breakfast was included with the cost of our room, and it was incredible! It was a beautiful morning so we ate outside. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely

A touch of elegance with loads of charm, delicious food, and outstanding amenities. The hotel is near downtown with lots of great shops and restaurants within a few blocks, but don't miss the breakfasts and evening appetizers!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for anything better in a bed and breakfast.

Stayed here for our mini honeymoon in 2017. It was like a fairytale!! Such pretty music playing in the room when we walked in! The room was so pretty, and the BREAKFAST!?!?! So beautiful, so delicious, so amazing. The kitchen and dining room are so beautiful in the morning, I would go back just for that! Loved our stay and will be heading back this year for our 2nd anniversary!

Absolutely an amazing place to spend some quality time with your special someone.
The room is especially comfortable, the breakfast and appetizers are delightful and all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to all attractions and restaurants.
We hope we get the opportunity to return to Victoria just so we can stay at Abegail's again.

My husband and I stayed in the orchid suite on our honeymoon, and our time here was fantastic!
This is our third trip to Victoria, and what I love about Abigail's is it is a little further east than the big touristy section, near the ferries and parliament. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, with Beacon Hill park right down the road. Beyond that is the waterfront, lovely little area to walk around.
The hotel staff was very kind upon our arrival, showing us our room. We arrived to beautifully laid out extras- a bottle of champagne and roses and chocolate strawberries. The bed was so

A number of other reviewers have said things about the place being friendly, welcoming, quaint, etc. True. However, we were there with a party who booked the hotel for us, so some of this review is based on frustrations encountered after we arrived.
We had 3 adults sharing a room which made it really crowded. The staff did everything they could to make it as comfortable as possible, including providing synthetic bedding for one that was allergic to down (feathers). The room was nicely decorated but quite small, and given the location (right behind the front desk) it was ridiculously overpriced
