Clever Day Care
Clever Daycare's mission is to provide high-quality, safe and flexible childcare that meets the diverse needs of working families across Canada. We offer a supportive and stimulating environment where children can play, learn, and grow. Clever Daycare is proud to support all parents regardless of their schedule by offering Evening, Weekend and Drop-in services.

Our daughter first went to Clever as a four month old. As a first-time mom, I was nervous to send my very young infant to daycare. The wonderful teachers put my mind at ease as every time I would drop her off or pick her up she was being well cared. Clever Daycare is a great environment for children.
Services
Our daycare program provides the ideal atmosphere for children to thrive in. With an emergent and play-based curriculum, warm and caring staff and 3 nutritious meals per day and plenty of time to jump around and play, all of your child's needs will be met: emotional, cognitive, social, and physical.
Life is unpredictable- and more so for busy parents. Sometimes you need to drop off your child on short notice to take care of something, and that's what our drop-in services are for. Clever's commitment to supporting all parents means we'll be there for you when you need us. Using drop-in services has never been easier!
Here at Clever Daycare, we host a variety of fun and diverse classes for children. We believe that it's important to offer children the opportunity to try new and exciting activities. Whether it's catering to a child's artistic side or active side, we have a class for them! An awesome opportunity for your child to explore movement, learn some new dance moves and work off extra energy.

This is a horrible daycare. Not only did a child get hit in the head and thrown up againt a wall by a worker. Thankfully witnesses were there so they fired the worker. But then they had the nerve to get mad at us parents for "gossiping" when this was the classroom all of our children were in, so we were concerned. There was no transparency on their part and they refused to answer questions. And yes when you try to leave they always try to scam you and get more money. Most credible daycares only require 30 days. They required 60 but because it isn't the right date they then try to

We registered our two kids. After hearing a few bad things we decided to switch. Provided 2.5 months notice, good thing we did because their 60 day cancellation policy is unclear, but if you're registered for March 15 start you need to cancel before Jan 1. If you cancel Jan 15 (which most people would assume is 60 days) it rounds to Feb 1st and therefore is only 45 or so days notice and you don't get your first month tuition back.

When I provided notice, they said an admin would get in touch but never did. 8 days later I followed up to which they just responded cheque would be ready

Finally, it is time to say good bye to Clever Daycare. I have to say most of the teachers there are nice and friendly. However, the management team there are greedy and very unqualified. Here is my story:
My daughter attended the Daycare 18 months ago. I noticed there is a "60-day written notice for withdrawal", which is uncommon comparing to "30-day notice", but I ignored. In the first year, the fee increased twice by totally 30% and charged me one-year material fee even the enrollment was in the middle of the year. I request the refund but they refused. That is all right

I stopped at a nearby business and was witness to some of Clever Daycare's outdoor playtime. At first, I couldn't understand why several of the kids were crying. Then I watched one boy bully other kids every chance he got. He struck a child in the head, he took toys from other kids, he pushed kids, he stood in front of a kid who was riding a tricycle and put his hands on the handlebars so he couldn't pedal anywhere. It was one thing after another.

When an opportunity came up, I spoke to one of the adult supervisors about the bully. She shrugged and said, "All kids go through
