EDGEMONT CHILDCARE CENTRE sees to it that the needs of your infant are met and exceeded in our infant care program. We ensure that your child will be safe and sound with one of our loving infant teachers. Our rooms are designed to ensure safety each child. Our program's main focus is to provide safe and loving care for infants, we also believe that we can never be too early in building skills.
We at Edgemont Childcare Center know you are looking for a safe and secure "home away from home" where your child can learn, play and grow. We have designed a comfortable, nurturing and creative world for your child to help their minds and bodies develop. We offer a variety of daily activities that expose the children to new things and help them develop all five senses.
They are developing quickly and are eager for knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Our program provides structure and guidance for your child to learn to share, get along with others and perform classroom tasks. Language and vocabulary skills are strengthened while listening to stories, singing songs, and playing games.
Through learning centers and age-appropriate playgrounds, our preschoolers have the ability to work at their own pace and learn to do tasks independently. Math, Language, Literacy & Science activities tied to Core Knowledge standards - to progressively builds important foundational skills. Music and movement - to expand your child's vocabulary and listening skills (songs, poems and rhymes).
Our enriched and creative Kindergarten program provides the necessary foundation your child will need to succeed in school. Daily activities focus on reinforcing kindergarten skills through all areas of the curriculum. We value play as an integral part in children's learning and offer an environment that fosters curiosity and creativity through play.

My daughter just start daycare for a month, I have to say, she is very high maintenance, she could take a lot attention, and she want thing happen in her way. I am so thankful for all staffs at Edgemont daycare's patient, especially Wendy. She would go beyond exception to accommodate my daughter's need. My daughter really likes her, children do not lie. I am really gratefully for the care my daughter received here.

They did not give my son formula from 10-3 even though I left specific instructions with times and amounts to give. He was starving when I picked him up. They were feeding him large amounts of water - he is almost 10 months old and does not need that amount of water, he would be at risk for water intoxication. I pulled him out of daycare right away (Dec 31) and they are refusing to refund my Jan fees as I didn't provide them with a month's notice.
