Our wonderful, friendly staff is our greatest asset. All of our administrative staff, dental assistants and hygienists are licensed professionals who pride themselves on staying on the cutting edge of dentistry and patient communication. If you visit our office on any given Friday, you will notice our entire team is dressed in casual attire. Our staff graciously donates to "This One is for Haiti" every Friday. This was founded in St. John's by a local dentist and has been active in Haiti since the earthquake in 2010. Since then, a dental team has travelled to Haiti yearly to provide much needed dental care.
Invisalign(R) takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you.
If you are in good general health, have healthy gums and have enough bone in the jaw to hold an implant, dental implants might be right for you. If your jawbone has shrunk or if it has not developed normally, you may need certain augmentative procedures prior to the implant placement to make you a successful candidate, such as a bone graft or sinus lift.
Nitrous oxide is simply a gas which you can breathe in. It has no colour, smell or taste. After 5 minutes or so of breathing in the gas, you should feel a relaxed feeling spread through your body. You will feel a bit light-headed and often people get "the giggles" (hence the name "laughing gas"). Nitrous takes effect quickly and also wears off quickly, so most people will feel back to normal by the end of their appointment.

I've been a patient of this office since open and brought my family with me. I heard a lot of not so great things as other families left but I choose to stay as I found everyone great until a couple weeks ago. Let's back track to the summer 2017, my husband was getting a root canal done (that has only just been finished by another dentist) after… maxing our dental and not finishing the tooth which mind you he had no complications etc maxed us out $3000 and still not finished. He complained of pain and was told "this isn't easy for us either, we can pull it if you can't handle the pain of

I brought my two children to this dental clinic for checkups and work on their teeth. I called today to book an appointment for my two children for checkups and was told that I owe outstanding fees for missed appointments. I have no record of the missed appointments (I did not make appointments and miss them to clarify), received no email or phone… calls as reminders of appointments. I am meticulous with appointments and phone messages. There was also a "late" cancelation apparently that I would be charged for as well. The problem is that the missed appointments apparently occurred before

On holidays from Australia. Broken tooth, day 1 of our trip. Walked in off the street ! Yes, we can help you. Come back in 1 hour and Dr. Strickland will see you. Unbelievable service, friendly reception staff made us most welcome. Dr Strickland, what a great guy, many thanks. Nearly but not quite the highlight of our trip to St. John.
