One To One Wellness Centre
Whether it's a recent injury or a chronic pain condition, our health and wellness programs will get you moving again. We help manage these conditions and related issues to keep you moving, restore muscle strength, and increase stamina and endurance. From reducing your risk of injury to preparing for surgery, One to One Wellness can help you stay pain free or recover faster from injury or surgery.

A multi-disciplinary approach offering Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, and Osteopathic Manual Therapy. We offer a free screening so we can understand what you are experiencing and determine if physiotherapy, osteopathy, and/or massage therapy can help. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification, and address any concerns about your health or past experiences.
Services
The team at One to One is a unique blend of talented people working together to optimize performance and support comprehensive wellness. Jamie has worked as a physiotherapist since 2002. Before completing his physiotherapy degree at Dalhousie University, he studied Biology and Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University.
With 15+ years of helping Nova Scotians Manage their Chronic Pain and Chronic Conditions, Our Virtual Physio team is here for you. Virtual Physio is a method of delivering rehabilitation services without having to be in-person with your physiotherapist. All you need is access to a laptop or tablet with a microphone and camera.
To book an appointment, just give us a call at 902-425-3775 or take a look at our booking calendar and find a time that works best for you. Rehabilitation exercises are developed based on the individual. Physiotherapy treatment is not one size fits all. One to One physiotherapists offer personalized rehabilitation integrated with advanced, yet completely safe, strength-training methods.
Our body has an innate ability to heal itself. However, there are instances when it is unable to do so. This can be due to injuries, stress, or illnesses. Osteopathic manual therapy can help in these situations as it promotes the body's own healing process. Osteopathic manual therapy is available for everyone, including infants and children.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) most often occurs after an experience that is, or is perceived to be, threatening to the person. Individuals will relive the experience, have intense fear or helplessness, and feel like they are on alert or find themselves avoiding certain situations for a period of time.

Having neck problems since my early 20s and visiting various Physiotherapy clinics in the past without having any success I had basically given up hope that I would ever be pain free. I have heard so many great things about this clinic that I decided to start virtual Physiotherapy a few weeks ago and have already noticed a difference. Jamie has… been amazing, the online booking process / virtual therapy is extremely user friendly, and the one to one approach that this clinic has is unlike anything I have experienced! I live over an hour away and having the ability to do virtual Physiotherapy

The on-line virtual physio offered during the pandemic saved me. Missing essential treatments needed, I was literally locked in pain. The gentle approach, focussing on what I could do, rather than what I couldn’t got me moving again while helping assess risks and fall safety, This all probably kept me from injuring myself further. Can’t say enough about their science- based approach to pain management and physio and the professional compassionate staff. 👏👏👏Thank you

The staff are great. I came to the clinic with chronic pain for over 10 yrs. Working with Jamie I am now able to do things I haven't been able to do over those 10 yrs. I even walk/ran the recent 5 km Sole Sisters Race...something I dreamt of but never expected to be able to do. Love One to One Wellness!!

One to One helped me understand the pain I was experiencing. Together we developed a successful plan on how to manage it and ultimately eliminate it from my day to day life. Excellent group of people.

This is intense strength training that is for the body and the mind. The coaching is very specific and precise and evolves with you. The trainers are highly knowledgable and are able to make the training very clear and doable. They provide a very safe and highly motivating environment. I never want to stop doing this.

Love the One to One Wellness team :) I've had neck issues for so long... I almost can't remember being pain free but I'm nearly there! I really appreciate the work we do in the clinic to treat and prevent injury as well as the education they send me home with to continue with exercises on my own. Very thankful to have found them and highly recommend them!

Read my previous review!!! To provide an update I had a partial Meniscal tear. I had recently had an operation to help correct it. I am on the road to recovery. Had I followed the advice of this clinic I would have not have even gotten the MRI which showed my doctors the tear because as this clinic had said the MRI was a waste of tax dollars. Well I say this clinic was a huge waste of my blue cross dollars.

Paul B. has already given a great review of this centre. I decided to give it a try as my husband has been going here for the last 6 months and has been raving about his progress. You make great gains in muscle development by exhausting the muscle completely using very slow movements in about 3 minutes. I find it amazing that you can take the muscle to utter exhaustion, without harming tendons and joints. The trainers do suggest starting with 2, 20 min sessions per week. Once you have achieved all the gains you require, only one session per week may be needed. You also get a cardio workout as

WoW - 121!!!

I have been going to 121 since the Spring. With the promise of health and fitness in 15 minutes a week, how could a long time marathoner like me not be skeptical - I mean interested.

The program is based on some sound science research and seems to enjoy sticking it to the classic anecdotal approaches to fitness - especially the existing dogma of cardio. Whether you ever drag your butt into 121, you should read the book:
