While acupuncture has been a standard treatment modality in Asian countries, it is only within the past few decades that its benefits have been recognized by the medical community in North America. The traditional theory of acupuncture has been described as the balancing of "Chi" (life energy) by placing needles within the energetic pathways of the body known as "meridians."

This team at Maritime physio is Amazing! The massage is one of the best out there. Jason is one of the best listeners in the world and that makes him a GREAT physio. The owner Rob always smiles at all the clients in the clinic. Even if he is not personally in charge of them he is always making people feel welcome. The smile is infectious.
COVID-19 has provided new challenges and the rules they are doing are working. Thank you for helping me and helping our community. Always a GREAT recommendation. :)

No one WANTS to go to a physiotherapist, but sometimes you must. I go here because it's handy, at the Sportsplex (free parking), and they know what they are doing. PT is an evidence-based treatment starting with an assessment to determine what muscles need attention, followed by heat and electrical stimulation, and ending with exercises specific to your malady. These folks are professional. If you follow the exercise regimen, you'll be mostly right in a few weeks, and they are good about letting you go when you don't need them (there are others waiting!). There may be other practitioners
