Dr. Ngan Huynh (pronounced "Nunn hWin") is delighted to own and practice at Broad Street Dental Centre. Dr. Huynh was raised in Kamloops, BC, and graduated in 2005 with his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from UBC. Originally built by Dr. King-Brown in 1971, the clinic has recently been fully renovated and technologically updated for digital dentistry.

At Broad Street Dental Centre we have an experienced team that wants to make each visit as easy as possible, different than you're used to, and quite possibly a bit fun? Heinz might have 57 varieties, but our dental guide has thousands of codes. Therefore, we hope that we can help guide you through a thorough treatment plan that includes options.
Let our hygienists help you clean above and below your gums, removing plaque and calculus (those rock hard deposits on teeth) from difficult to reach spaces. Hardly anyone enjoyed calculus in school, so why carry it around with you for the rest of your life? Your regular dental hygiene dictates your risk of gum and bone disease.
A brighter, whiter smile can help us appear younger and more vibrant, so it's no wonder that most people would like to have whiter teeth. Our teeth become darker as part of the normal aging process. In addition, foods and drinks that we consume can seep into the teeth over time and cause them to discolour.
Crooked, crowded and difficult teeth can be treated at any age and treatment may be easier than you think. Straightening teeth makes a smile more attractive and also helps with cleaning. We evaluate teeth that contact each other for an even and effective bite and try to harmonize the position of the teeth with the gums, lips, smile and face.
Dr. Ngan Huynh is excited to offer the state-of-the-art CEREC Omnicam(R). We can create custom all white crowns, onlays or veneers in one patient visit. In the past, the process of a crown or similar treatment involved two separate appointments with dental impressions, temporary crowns, lab communication, and often a second dental anesthetic.

There are many good things I could say about Dr.Huynh but I'll stick to dentistry. This young man is innovative, creative, dedicated and, without a doubt, sees solutions rather than problems as this old lady can attest to. His practice has state of the art tools and he uses them to good advantage. The staff is friendly, competent and fun be around so it makes it all easier to visit 'The Dentist'. I can't add much more except to say that that he is upfront about probable costs and will give you the time to think about them so that there is no pressure to decide immediately

Great clinic and staff. Dr. Huynh is an exceptional dentist and cares deeply for his patients. The whole staff went above and beyond during a time where I needed emergency dental work. I still can't believe how quickly they were able to patch me up. This dental office feels like the future of dentistry.

Broadstreet Dental is the best dental experience I have ever had. I was greeted by Sharon at the front who was very polite and her smile lit the room up. I got into a last minute appointment and the team stayed late to help my dental emergency. Dr. Ngan Huynh made sure I understood everything that he was doing for my dental needs before doing. Shauna the assistant was very comforting and I felt at ease. Normally with dental visits I’m nervous and I don’t like being there. Came here for the first time for a regular cleaning - ended up with very painful inflammation. Took over a week to get an appointment to go back in. Turns out they had messed up a filling that now needs to be redone, but they couldn't find me a time within the next 2 months to do so. Gross incompetence. Don't see how it is appropriate to damage a patient's filling, but then not see them for 2.5 months and leave the patient with pain, inflammation and unable to chew?

I've been afraid of dentists all my life but could not avoid going any longer. Dr Huynh knew how nervous I was and took his time to put me at ease explained what he was doing and made me feel relaxed through the whole process. His staff is great and very friendly and professional. If you are looking for a dentist this is the place to go.

Dr. Ngan and his team are seriously awesome at dental work. The filling I recently got was completely painless and the resulting filled tooth feels completely natural. In addition to the superb level of expertise, there is also always a cheerful and upbeat vibe in the clinic which makes for a really pleasant visit. I feel very lucky to be a patient of this clinic!

While the dentist and staff are very kind and personable, I had 2 overlays (type of crown) that he made with his machine in the office rather than being sent to the lab that caused problems within a year and a half. He was very excited by his new technology, but looking back, I am not as enthusiastic. One popped off when I was en route to Haida Gwaii while eating something and required a dentist on that very remote island to glue it back on as an emergency appointment. This was within one year of the work being done. The other allowed food to come due to its poor fit or perhaps the glue issue,

Most thorough yet painless cleaning I've ever had. My hygienist was so confident and knowledgeable I felt completely at ease. She gave me a lot of good information! The dentist was also very positive and you could tell he was excited to be at work. They don't push anything unnecessary either which is refreshing. The practice is very friendly, passionate and honest. They love what they do and it shows! Will recommend this place to anyone looking for quality dental work!

Dr Ngan and his staff are fantastic. I've suffered for years with dental anxiety and this is now mainly all in the past. They make you feel very comfortable and at ease with how their high level of care and yes some humor too.
I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody and especially for those with extreme anxiety issues.

Amazing facility! I did the clearline procedure and was very happy with the process and my results. Dr. Huynh did a fantastic job, Picasso of teeth really! Terrific and friendly staff, they were very helpful and patient with me! I was turned down by other clinics as they thought this treatment wouldn't work for me, so I was extra grateful for my wonderful results at broad street!! Big thanks. Would highly recommend :D
