We recognize that dental hygiene is an important part of comprehensive dental care. Dental hygiene care ensures that the mouth is free from bacterial, viral or fungal infections. It also ensures that patients are able to maintain their gum and oral bone health. The gums and bones are vital to keeping your teeth for as long as you can, as they are the structure that keeps them in your mouth.
Root canals are valuable dental procedures used to treat and preserve teeth with badly infected roots. When it becomes infected, patients can experience pain, swelling and even total tooth loss unless treated. Root canals remove the damaged parts of the tooth and infected root. The pulp is the live portion of the tooth that extends into the root and contains nerve endings and tissues.
Inlays and onlays are dental restorations that are more extensive than dental fillings but less so than caps and crowns. They are typically formed in a dental lab and are made of gold, porcelain or resin depending on the patient's needs and aesthetic goals. An inlay refers to a restoration that is formed to fit the center of a tooth, whereas an onlay refers to a restoration that encompasses at least one cusp of the tooth.
Whether a patient has special needs, is afraid of the dentist or is simply too active to sit still through a dental treatment, minimal oral sedation is a helpful tool for getting anxious dental patients to relax and cooperate, while still allowing them to maintain a state of awareness. Oral sedation is a type of dental analgesia used by dentists across the world.

Dr. Sajan and his rockstar staff team make my experience of going to the dentist something I actually look forward to now, and I cannot thank them enough for it. Never before have I looked forward to a trip to the dentist, until now! Even during a global pandemic, it feels so safe in there, because of all the hard work they have put in, & continue to put in, to make it that way. Gold stars all around!

I've been going here for several years and actually feel bad I'm only posting a review now.. but all I can say is this office is THE BEST!! They really do their best to make sure you're completely comfortable. I seem to have a particularly high tolerance for freezing and as a result have had many bad experiences with dentists in the past. Had a filling done today and even though it took 4 attempts at freezing to make sure it was adequately frozen, they were super understanding and patient and made sure I was ok before proceeding. A+++

I recently moved to Victoria and had a horrible experience with another dentist. Dr. Sajan was recommended by a co-worker and I am so glad I went to see him. He is so nice, so kind, and really knows his stuff. I found him to be so personable and he was actually looking out for me rather than his pocket. His front staff was awesome. They didn't make me jump through hoops to figure out my insurance and got everything done so quickly. I would recommend this office to anyone looking! Awesome staff and amazing dentist!
