Steel Horse Automotive was founded by Dan Zawalsky after hearing one too many bad mechanic stories over the years from friends and colleagues. Dan then graduated college, completed his apprenticeship and obtained his inter-provincial certification as an Automotive Technician. Following his education, Dan worked in several shop environments, from small-town independent shops to large nation chain franchises.
From oil changes to tire rotations, our experienced automotive technicians will perform regular maintenance services to make your vehicle go the extra mile. When it comes to minor or major repairs on components like your brakes and transmission, our technicians will treat your vehicle as if it were one of own.

Dan, Jennifer and all of the mechanics at Steel Horse Automotive are amazing people to say the least. Despite a pandemic they are still honest and hard-working, always finding a spare minute to chat and to fit me in to their hectic schedules. I have had too many bad experiences with auto services in the past to count so I have to add that they’ve restored my faith that there are still good people out there just looking to help. Highly recommend these guys!!!

Hands down the absolute best and most trustworthy knowledgeable mechanics in tge business. I work in the oil patch in Williston north dakota but live in london ontario. Fair pricing and really easy to work with. First time as a young lady going to a shop in the city and feared I would be ripped off compared to my small town. They did try to upsell a few things but once I said no they didn’t push it and said I could wait to do those services down the line.

Dan has serviced my 1998 Toyota Tercel for over 10 years, you won't find a better mechanic along with all of his staff in this whole City, he has bent over backwards for me, I am old enough to be his grandmother, and he treats me as such. I can only say if you are not happy with Steel Horse Auto you can't be satisfied by anyone. They have a wonderful receptionist who is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Dan, Scott and the rest of the Steel Horse team, for helping to make my dream come true! Earlier this year they installed a VF Supercharger in my 2000 BMW Z3M Roadster, along with some other much needed work, and and all I can say is wow, she is everything I could hope for now! These guys are providing everyone with out-of-this-world experience. WOW! I went in to get couple aftermarket horns installed, in which started with super easy set-up for an appointment and time. When time came, they saw the schedule on their computer and noticed that I was set for another time, but they didn't turn me away. They still did the work despite me coming in at a different time! Then they were working on it, and they encountered a problem where my the relay that came with the horns was defective - but that didn't discourage them from continuing the work. They didn't complain about it
