Alongside our associates at Pearle Vision, the team of eye doctors at Sun Valley Optometry provide excellent family-oriented care for our valued patients here at our office in Kelowna's Orchard Park mall. We think of eye care from a preventive approach and don't just consider how clearly you see, but many other components to visual function to make sure your eyes are working efficiently as well.
We feel that your eye exam experience should be as unique as you are. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive eye exam full of education and explanations that exceed every expectation. Stopping visually related headaches and eye strain before they start, preventing those itchy watery eyes before it comes on and many other common ailments of the eyes are preventive with the right counselling.
At Sun Valley Optometry, we know your time is valuable and we want to make the experience as seamless as possible for you. For all of your eye care needs we offer some evening and weekend appointments that can be booked over the phone or online. I had a wonderful experience with my eye check-up but the service to connect them post-check-up is worse. I tried to connect them using a registered phone number and email. On communication, you should work because two days of waiting means two days without eyes for the customer. I am disappointed that I am getting a response on my google review within 3 hrs but waited for almost 2 days for the email response. Overall 3 stars for my experience.

Dr Broschak is very professional, friendly and has all the latest equipment. He takes the time to explain all the health of your eyes and in a way that is understandable to the client. He takes the time to listen and answer any questions you may have regarding the health of your eyes.. The staff is friendly and professional. I will always have my eyes checked by Dr Broschak.

Excellent. Super friendly, efficient, and up to date gadgets. I was surprised how quick my appointment was, no fooling around here, just hard working people. Very honest and thorough. Great location, easy to find, right beside the bay and a eye glass dispensary (across the dollar store in the mall).

I just had my first experience at Sun Valley Optometry and I was blown away by this business! The environment was so calm and inviting. The young lady who works at the front desk was super friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. Dr. Broschak was such a friendly, humble, and down-to-earth guy who explained things clearly without making you feel unintelligent. The eye exam was thorough and I never felt like I was being rushed through the process. In all honesty, this was the best eye appointment experience I’ve ever had! I will absolutely continue seeing Dr. Broschak and will/would recommend

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Broschak and his staff. They have all the latest technology and education, I have never had to wait more than 3-5 mins for my scheduled appointments and the front desk staff is so friendly! When I forgot to order my contacts before my vacation they were able to give me a few pairs to hold me over until mine came in! Amazing.

While they were nice, waiting 45min for appointments isn't acceptable. I took all three kids at separate times, and then I did my own appointment and each time the appointment was at x and I showed up on time, but I didn't see a doctor till 30-45 minutes later. So if you book plan to wait- there is zero reason for this, it is simple lack of planning. If they can fix that I'll attend again... But if not no I will not go back.
