Any leakage of oil underneath the car. Check any leakage of coolant water from the radiator. Check the battery condition. Check whether car emits blue grey, dense smoke or a normal smoke from exhaust pipe. Watch out for engine noises, any vibrations, lack of power or any other issues. Check for any burning smells when open the hood.

Charges more then what he should.
Also I am very suspicious about an incident that could have had me injured. I asked about if I need a new fan belt, said I did even though I didn't have symptoms of it needing it to be replaced. When I drove home I lost control and almost drove off to the side of a bridge and when I phoned about it Chuck came by and he looked nervous, I don't want to assume but I think that my belt was cut so I would have to get it changed but it almost caused me a major accident.
Incident 2: Walked in 1 hour early to see my truck was not even lifted and still got charged for

I've been going to Chuck's for almost a decade. Due to circumstances I occasionally have to use other shops and usually end up regretting not having gone to Chuck's instead. Al is extremely helpful and takes time to explain things thoroughly. He keeps my 13-year-old PT Cruiser running great and I always feel I've been provided a good service at a fair price. I would (and do!) recommend Chuck's to everyone who says they're looking for a good auto repair shop.

Having recently moved to QB from Ontario, we needed to have our car inspected for ICBC compliance - a job Chuck's is certified to do. Not only did they squeeze us in during a busy schedule, but the owner, Allan, gave me his personal truck to drive for a day when ours was in the shop! New to town and driving around in the Chuck's Automotive company truck ... quite the experience. Automotive service to me is about trust ... price is important, but I would sooner pay a few more dollars to someone I believe is giving me a straight story. Allan is trustworthy and Chuck's is our auto service company
