Laser eye surgery, is a surgical procedure intended to reduce a person's dependency on glasses or contact lenses. To be eligible patients must be at least 18 years old, free of any significant eye problems and any conditions that affects healing e.g. 4-6 weeks for gas permeable contacts. Consultation with our doctors can determine if you would be a good candidate for the surgery.
Regular eye exams for contact lens patients are essential to ensure that cornea health is maintained. The cornea has no direct blood supply, and relies on oxygen from the air. For this reason, contacts are classified as medical devices that if improperly worn or maintained can cause adverse ocular reactions.
