She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from McGill University. Born in Iran and raised in Toronto, she is happy to return from Montreal to a dental career in North York where she grew up.

Doctors and employees are very responsible. They are very attentive and take care of all patients. The receptionist is always hospitable. During Covid-19, they are working hard to ensure the safety of patients. Tooth cleaning and tooth decay surgery are very careful, treat every patient politely, thank them very much.

After struggling with a few charlatan dentists in the past and having lost hope in finding a decent dentist in Toronto, Doctor Shemtov was highly recommended to me by my former Jaw surgeon Dr. Claudio Tocchio (Whom I love dearly), I found Dr. Shemtov to be absolutely amazing in every aspect, he is honest, he is kind, humble, loving, caring and most important of all, very knowledgeable in his line of work without a doubt, the clinic staff (Lilian) were also very sweet and friendly, I also had a teeth cleaning done the same day and she did amazing job, could not be happier. DO NOT let SHEMTOV (the so called owner) touch your mouth, he made a lot of mistakes, I had to go to another dentist to fix my teeth he has no clue what he is doing, don't let the young blonde receptionist at the front talk down to you, she is VERY RUDE she took his side when I was very upset about my teeth, most likely family, how do people come to this disgraceful place and let amateurs touch your teeth and let a reception talk down to people it's absolutely absurd.

I have been to 4 dentists in my life, this one being the 5th. i have HUGE dental anxiety from having awful dentists in the past. let me tell you this is THE BEST BEST BEST dental office arguably in the world, i wish i could give it 10 stars not just 5. my first visit i literally was crying i was so anxious, everyone, and i mean EVERYONE from the front desks to dental assistants to the lead dentist was SO SO SO kind, so understanding, so welcoming. i have never ONCE had a good cleaning experience until i found these guys. they truly changed my whole teeth world. im SO grateful to have been recommended

It took me a long time to find a good dental office for my families dental treatment until I found this amazing one. They are on top of everything to ensure patient’s safety when providing dental care during this horrible pandemic. Doctors there are so knowledgeable and considering. Love all staff there. I just had a visit at North York Dental at 1333 Sheppard Ave E #107, North York, ON with Dr. Eli Shem - Tov. The work that has to be done was complicated and the doctor gave me an amazing treatment and without any pain or discomfort. The quality of customer service is amazing and they treat you like a family member! If you have to do some teeth treatments make sure you ask for Dr. Eli Shem he is the best dentist I ever dealt with.

This is the first time I’ve been to a dental office and left feeling like it was actually a really pleasant experience! The staff & professionals are so welcoming, present and really care about helping you understand your options & have a positive experience. They’ve invested in some great features for the office (Netflix + comfy headphones during cleanings is awesome to pass the time). I don’t often feel motivated to write reviews like this but in this case I genuinely cannot recommend them enough - plus they have a really cute therapy dog who’s there to brighten your day. 🐶

I have been going to North York Dental for 6 or 7 years now. The people are exceptional in making you feel welcome. Dr. Shem-Tov along with the help of Izzy have taken me from a state of terror to relaxed and comfortable. Izzy is the greatest, which was the first thing to intrigue me in trying North York Dental. I have had many very scary experiences at the hands of other dentists and everyone at North York Dental has been so kind and patient with me. Now I get my dental work done fear free. Dr. Shem-Tov is a great dentist with all the latest bells and whistles to make your experience as painless

I honestly feel throughout the years I have had the worst experiences in the world in a dental office. I came to Dr Eli Shem Tov with a lot of fear and anxiety especially after years of neglecting my dental health. North York Dental is by far the greatest dental experience I have ever had (and will ever have).
