Welcome to Riverview Cottages in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes. We are conveniently located 10 minutes from Fenelon Falls, just off Highway 35 in the community of Rosedale, where the Trent Canal meets Balsam Lake. We have seven comfortable cottages that can accommodate groups ranging in size from two to eight people. We also have several docks available for guest boats. Located less than a two hour drive from both Toronto and Kingston, we are an easy drive from both cities.

Riverview Cottages offers seven comfortable housekeeping cottages on beautiful Balsam Lake in the heart of the Kawarthas. Our cottages can be rented on a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal basis. Each cottage includes a fully equiped kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee maker and three piece bathroom with stand-up shower.
Enjoy some of the best fishing in the Kawarthas on Balsam Lake. We have 12 docks with 24 slips available for guests of Riverview Cottages. Each cottage rental includes a complementary dock at your doorstep. And, the public boat launch is located just two minutes away from our property. We are also centrally located between two marinas providing fuel and other provisioning supplies.
Take highway 401 to highway 115/35 exit. Continue on highway 35 north, past Lindsay to the community of Rosedale. Continue north, crossing the bridge over the Trent Canal and turn right at the first street, Grey Wood Drive. Turn left on Coldstream Road and look for our sign. We are conveniently located less than two hours from both Toronto and Kingston.

Notice no pictures of the inside of the cottages, shower is moulded, lights are plugged in, beds are old and disgusting, no heat, toilet sitting on 2x6’s of wood, roofs look like there going to leak, only good thing is docks are out your front door ( but barely afloat) half way off the pilings, than the guy offers me to pay cash to save $16 Lmao nope charge my visa and give me a receipt
