Beautiful sandy beach suitable for all ages - marked off for children - great for swimming and sunning. Avid fishermen, novice to expert will be able to match their wits against fish of several species.
Bass (largemouth and smallmouth), Pickerel (Walleye), Muskellunge, Perch and Panfish. Spring and fall fishing can be most rewarding! We recommend practising live release so that future generations will also be able to catch fish!

Thank you George for your hospitality and your conversation. Our family was camping at the provincial park and saw heavy rains coming. We called a few places and found Wychwood. What a great place to stay at a reasonable price. If you want luxury pay three times the price. Simple cottaging at a laid back quiet place with great ownership.

Good place for families. The owner is a nice guy. Cabins are minimalist, and have a camping vibe. The beach is well kept and safe for kids. The boathouse can be jumped off of, and there is a small slide in the water as well. Bring a firepit incase there is not one on your site, but an embedded charcoal BBQ is available. Bottled water is a good idea, I'm unsure if the tap water is potable (haven't asked). Mostly a quiet place.

A wonderful Cottage get-away enjoyable for the entire family. Great location; quiet & peaceful, yet Fenelon Falls (shopping / restaurants) is right there! George & his family are very good hosts, sort-of in the background, though right there if "anything" is needed. Good Cottages, & nice exceptionally clean private beach, to swim from or make sand-castles, etc... 5 Stars & Great work George !!!!!
