Benno Dreger, BA, MDiv, RPC, MPCC, PTP holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1989) from the University of Alberta, a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Lutheran Seminary in Edmonton, Alberta (1994) and has completed Masters level training in Counselling Psychology from City University, Seattle Washington.

This person, Benno states on his website that he went to City University but did not graduate with a Masters in Counselling. He has a degree in religious studies.
When looking for a counsellor in BC, you want to look for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) which requires a Masters in Counselling, specific training, and a certain amount of clinical supervision hours. Benno is instead a “registered professional counsellor” which has extremely less requirements.
