Our office is opened on all weekdays and alternate Saturdays in order to try and accomodate your busy schedule. If you think you have an emergency, then so do we. Dr. David L. Ho is the dentist at Whitby Dental Centre. He is celebrating over 20 years of practicing dentistry! He stays current and involved by serving on the executive committee of the Durham Dental Society. His interests include tennis, chess and Arnold Swartzeneger! He is also a busy dad of 3 young children.
Whitby Dental Centre provides comprehensive mercury-free and amalgam-free dentistry. Restorative dentistry seeks to repair or replace your natural teeth in order to return your mouth to full functional and aesthetic harmony. The restorative work can range from simple fillings and crowns to more complex root canal therapy and tooth replacement implants.

Successful treatment may involve other professionals; Physiotherapy, Chiropractors, Massage Therapy, Cranio-mandibular specialists, and Physicians. Meaningful treatment begins with proper diagnosis. We will do a thorough evaluation of your problem to determine the best way that we can help and the appropriate therapy.

All I can say is WOW!!!
Donna at reception was great, got me in very quickly. I had never been there before, but it was an emergency.
I had a pretty bad cracked molar.. I was sure I was in for a root canal.
Dr. Ho said he might be able to save it, and yes he did! Not only did he clean and rebuild it (not just fill it) it looks perfect, quite the sculpture.
In and out in one hour!
That was my first visit there.. thank you.

Our experience, as a family of 4, at Whitby Dental Centre has been excellent. On every visit we feel welcomed, greeted by the ladies at the front desk as we walk in, to the familiar interaction with Dr. Ho and the dental assistants. Quality and Genuine Care are very much present! We truly trust Dr. Ho and his whole team. Nothing better than going to the dentist, without the stress of feeling like you are at the dentist, if you know what I mean... We highly recommend it...!!!

Dr. Ho has been our family dentist since I was a toddler. Their practice is child friendly, I was never scared to see doctor Ho!
I actually look forward to chatting with my hygienist every six months, even with the tools in my mouth.
Big shoutout to the receptionists too, who remember me and make sure to book me with my favorite hygienist.

I have been going to Dr. Ho for nearly 20 years now. My children have grown up with Dr. Ho taking care of them. He and his staff are very professional, kind, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. I have recommended Dr. Ho to many family members and friends and they all comment on his excellent service. We travel a fair distance to get dental care in Whitby, but we would never consider going anywhere else.

Staff are amazing to deal with. Especially Donna & Tanya for all your appointment needs. Been a patient there since about 1998. All Hygienists are very knowledgeable and gentle. Like a good barber, you want a good hygienist and for me that's Janalee.

My wife and I have both been seeing Dr Ho for over 5 years. He and the entire staff are great, always friendly and pleasant and accommodating with appointment times. Whether getting teeth cleaned or emergency repairs, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dr Ho and the staff make you feel like part of their family 😄

I rarely write reviews...that being said, Whitby Dental Centre is beyond worthy of an amazing review!!!! Dr. Ho and his team are so dedicated to creating the absolute best experiences for all of their patients! In addition to being a great dentist, Dr. Ho will always make you feel at ease and answer all of your questions without ever making you feel like he is in a rush. The hygienists and receptionists truly add to making this office feel like home! I would HIGHLY recommend Whitby Dental Centre to anyone and everyone!
