Avalon Dental is amazing. Oliver, the biggest humanitarian and sincere Dentist I have ever met! Honest, understanding, helpful and amazing with children and all of our dental needs. I have been with Dr. Oliver Rohn since the office opened - I had just moved to Whitby and needed solid dental care. Avalon and Dr. Oliver have been amazing and I won't let any other dentist inside my mouth (lol). And the hygienists, other than one issue 10 years ago, have been amazing as well. Staff are all very efficient and courteous - highly recommend!

I had a root canal this afternoon at Avalon Dental, conducted by Dr. Oliver Rohn and his assistant Lily. While this isn’t the most enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half, I can’t say enough about Dr. Oliver and Lily’s professionalism, painless procedural technique and friendly, supportive demeanour. I have been a patient of Avalon for about eight years and have never had anything but genuine care by their staff!! Well done!!!

I went to the dentist yesterday with my son. Im very angry. My son went for his cleaning and they only picked at his teeth, no water pick cleaning and no polishing. No one told me this would be omitted because the facility is not allowed to perform these services until doors are installed. I should have been informed because this was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME. The staff knew I was driving in from 3 hrs away and they had ample opportunity to let me know! I wasted my time and money and now I have to go to another dentist to get my son's teeth cleaned.

I am 60 now. As a child I had experienced dentists that made me fear the experience. The dentist I went to in 1974 at 14 years of age, climbed on my chest and asked my buddies in the waiting room to come and hold me down as he yanked on a tooth. So you can imagine my fears after that.
Then as an adult I went to a dentist that the hygenist would say to me or put that SCOLD me.' If you don't floss you are going to lose all your teeth. I told her I would floss the middle one.' .

I can’t say enough good about this dental office! The front desk staff are always friendly and professional. The dentists and assistants take the time to explain things and give options along with great professional advice! Most of my family has moved to this dental office for the excellent service received. All work Ive had done there, crowns, cleanings, filling have never given me any issues. I love when they hand me the remote to turn on a favourite tv show to watch with sunglasses on. Clean friendly and comfortable. Who could ask for more in a dental office.

This is the 20th year I have been trusting the dentists and staff at Avalon. From the hundreds of minor and major procedures over this time, I have always been treated professionally and with kindness. Because of this I have continued to return even though I have moved away to the other end of the city. My wife and two children are also happy Avalon patients. I would not recommend this clinic. I moved to whitby recently and this was the closest clinic. It was a bad experience. The dentist I saw was clearly only looking to make a quick buck. I was pregnant at the time and she told me that I would have to return as soon as I gave birth as she saw a cavity in my mouth. So, without xrays, she determined by scanning my mouth that I had a cavity??? She showed me a brown mark on my tooth....I drink a lot of tea and my previous dentist told me of staining that happens on my teeth. Also, in my 34 years of life I have never,ever had a cavity. So for a dentist
