Dr. Gakhal is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where he received his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry in 1997, and went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine.

Very comfortable and caring atmosphere from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. They’re very good at making you feel safe and cared for! They’re very gentle and check to make sure you’re doing okay during whatever you’re getting done! They get your quote for your work right away and they’re on top of getting back to your questions! Hands down one of the better dental clinics I’ve been to!

Very unreliable appointments. I've been booked in for appointments for hours the office isn't even open (pre-covid) and had multiple appointments cancelled/rescheduled for various reasons. They state they are open Saturdays but they won't give you appointments on a Saturday. Never an apology or an attempt to accommodate the patients schedule either.

I love, love, love Dr. Arti. Such a fine and gentle touch, and so nice to be around. Best dentist I have been to in years. And I am not a fan of going to the dentist.
Highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you are anxious when getting dental work, because she will put you at ease.

I really should have gone to a different dentist. I'll be honest, at first I liked going there. The Doctor and assistants are good at what they do and they are friendly. But since I got a nightguard for my teeth cause I was practically being pressured to buy one for my teeth, I haven't been back since. I felt I had no choice and now I am being harassed for payment, though I have insurance that could cover it, though at the time it could only pay for part of it. I'm not exactly sure how it works but as it is a year later it should be able to pay for the other half but no, they've decided to harass

Highly recommend Latoria Dental Centre. I am traumatized by going to the dentist so I’ve been avoiding a visit. My husband convinced me to see Dr. Kang and I did! This was the best experience I’ve ever had getting fillings done. Angela and Dr. Kang were so patient and explained to me every step of the process so that made me feel very comfortable.

We had our first appointments here yesterday - me, my husband and my two children, ages 2 and 5. It was my daughter's first dental appointment. We all had an excellent experience - all of us. Everyone was… amazingly friendly and they were all fabulous with kids and gentle with mouths. Booking our appointments this time and for next time was also super easy. We were able to get convenient days and times with no hassle. We are very happy to be patients at this dental center now.
