At Slade's Funeral Homes we are pleased to have a professional, caring and understanding team to offer a strong support system to the families we serve. We pride ourselves on our personal manner treating each family as if they were our own. Edward (Ned) and Elizabeth Slade made their dream a reality when they established there first funeral home in 1993 in Carbonear.
Know that our funeral homes were built with our families in mind, meaning convenient locations, easily accessible, spacious and a comforting caring atmosphere. Centrally located in Carbonear, Slade's Funeral Home located on Powell Drive is in the middle of the town. Our Carbonear facility was constructed in 1993 with ample parking, easily accessible for wheelchairs, and a main level layout for easy access to all of our facilities.
Myself and Wayne can't thank you enough for the compassionate and caring way that you showed us during the loss of our uncle William Thoms. The Slade family were dear friends of uncle Bill and it will never be forgotten. The family of the late Fred King of Carbonear wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for all your wonderful kindness and compassion shown to us in our time of sorrow.
