We are honored and privileged to serve the Conception Bay area. Dedicated to providing caring, compassionate, and courteous service. We understand the importance that family values, customs, traditions, and religious preferences have in determining how we celebrate and honor the lives of our loved ones.
It is the mission of Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home to assist in the recognition of the value of a life lived and to facilitate meaningful ways for the family and community to celebrate the memory of their loved one. In doing so, we will care for each family with the same respect and dignity we would have afforded our own family in time of need.

Conway's Funeral Home was established in 1955, by Mr. Richard (Dick) Conway and his wife Mrs. Jennie (Jen) Conway. The legacy of Conway's Funeral Home started out in the picturesque community of Colliers, Conception Bay, and their first location was at the Conway's Family Home in the lower level, which had all the requisites of a funeral home during that time.
Staff members of Flaherty's Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
