Located at the south end of Islington Village, we've created a centre of bright and stimulating spaces to learn and play. A nurturing and positive atmosphere is encouraged by warm and friendly staff all qualified in Early Childhood Education.

Services
Our stimulate play area is balanced with a quiet sleep room to ensure a healthy mix of developmental learning and necessary rest. In the busy active life of a toddler we provide a wide variety of learning based toys and fun-filled activities. An exciting and stimulating age group where we incorporate Jolly Phonics to encourage an early start on reading.
Each member of our professional team is qualified in the field of Early Childhood Education. Equally important, our staff is carefully chosen not only for their experience but also for their warmth and enthusiasm. When conflicts arise, we use positive redirection for a peaceful resolution. Children are encouraged to use words to express themselves when problem solving with their peers.
I am thrilled to be a part of this special and unique community as I begin this journey and share with you my dream. Years ago, my experience began through volunteering in kindergarten classrooms and community camps. At a young age, I was eager to be certified in babysitting and sit for neighbourhood families.
We would like to thank you so much for providing an amazing daycare experience for our daughter Leah. We first dropped her off unsure about leaving her with a group of strangers and left feeling as though she lost a part of her family. Leah thoroughly enjoyed spending her days in her classroom, she loved her teachers and greeting them with long hugs upon being dropped off which really put my mind at ease.
Islington Village Child Care Centre has been designed in such a way that although we have the capacity to nurture and care for 105 children, each group has their own individual area outfitted with age appropriate furnishings and activities. We want each child to feel secure with their surroundings, care giver and friends but still be part of our larger day care community.

Had my daughter there last year and i can say all management cares about is money! Very greedy admin! Not sure about the educators but i can tell they were unqualified through the paper work then sent home with my daughter! But main issue was how greedy was the management and after the last email we exchanged, i didn’t feel that my daughter will be in a safe place i felt like she was taken care of only because we payed money! And this is definitely not a feeling any caregiver would like to feel! i was so happy to withdraw my daughter!

I absolutely love IVCCC and am so happy that I chose this daycare for my child. I was extremely nervous at first about sending my child to daycare but the IVCCC staff helped my child transition very quickly. They are a very proactive and welcoming team, which encourages my child to want to go to class every morning. Their facility is very clean. I would highly recommend this daycare.

I can’t say enough of how happy we are that our son was accepted to Islington Village for the infant program last August. He quickly adapted to the daily routine and grew sweet attachments to his teachers - and we truly see how they love and care about him. The programs to develop his gross motor skills are so effective, we can see how quickly he has learned in his 8 months with the centre. He’s usually such a picky eater at home yet eats everything at daycare! Our son was in the toddler and pre-k classrooms at IVCCC and we all had a very positive experience with the teachers, directors, and families of the community. We greatly appreciated the positive and constructive feedback we received from his teachers, and advice on how we could work together to ensure a happy classroom for all. What we loved about IVCCC was how dedicated the teachers and directors were to age appropriate programming, being inclusive and celebrating all holidays. When we had to leave the centre our son was devastated and so were we. He still talks about the “red apple school”

My experience with Islington Village Child Care Centre has been exceptional! As an anxious first time mom, putting my toddler into daycare proved to be easy as the owner, managers and staff focus diligently on creating a positive learning environment for kids that is caring and personalized. I was pleased with the constant touch points, communication and responsiveness of the team here.

Although we switched to a downtown daycare (closer to work), we couldn't have been happier with the experience at IVCCC. My son's teachers were very warm and welcoming, and by the third day he was already feeling comfortable. I (a mother with high standards!) would definitely recommend this daycare to others!

I can't comment on the actual care but my experience with their organization and communication was quite poor. Numerous emails were never replied to. It even got to the point where I would have to ask that they reply and even then, some emails were ignored. When I went to my booked appointment tour, no one was expecting me. A staff member offered to take me around. I loved the space but am happy that I found elsewhere for my child to go to.
