We found this place at the last minute, what a beautiful place on the water's edge (perfect for fishermen) 10 min from Sandbanks beach 10 min from my grocery store and restaurant near the wine route! Small beach with a dock access to all, in-ground pool, slide and swing! A beautiful place to experience the lake right in front of the cottage.
It felt so relaxing to wake up every morning and watched the sunset at night. A very peaceful place. My kids had so much fun catching fishes by the deck. It's so nice to hear the sounds of the burning firewood and the lake waters at night. It's a gem to be here. Owners were very warm, approachable, and caring to explain how everything works in the campground.

A new way to experience the outdoors in boho inspired tents, that turn any regular camping into dreamy glamping. Queen sized beds instead of sleeping bags, lanterns, and sparkly lights instead of flashlights, and a wine glass instead of a canteen. We stayed in Cottage 1 for 3 nights in June and enjoyed it. This campground hit everything on our checklist: waterfront property, activities on site to use, deck with dining space, fire pit, fully functional kitchen etc.
The only thing missing was a beachy area but Sandbanks is minutes away and a pass is provided.
The new owners are hardworking, accommodating and responsive. We have recommended this site to our friends and family. My in-laws ended up renting a trailer last week and I will be visiting again with my family this coming weekend.

I stayed at the Red Roof Cottage with a group of my friends for a weekend in July. The cottage was beautiful- spacious, clean, open concept, lots of bedrooms, comfortable beds, functioning washrooms, and lots of seating space. The best part was the huge covered back patio facing the water. We were able to have a blast even though we had a mostly rainy weekend. You were able to be outside without getting soaked. There is a large table where we were able to sit, eat, and play games. There was also a BBQ for all of our grilling needs. Right by the patio there is a big firepit surrounded by chairs

Very expensive, and bathroom shower non functional. My friends stayed here and were so disappointed. The cottage is not to code.No window or fan in bathroom. Shower head fell on 7 year old.. no smoke detector or CO2 detector. It was so upsetting for them and no refund and very poor customer service. Stay away. When I dropped by to see, here are the pictures.

I only went to visit some friends that are staying here. And they are all disappointed with the place. The RV's are old and disgusting. I dont know how they did to put pictures of this place, that seems nice. But the campground is not well maintained and all of RVs look rough and have seemed better days in the 80's.... I dont recommend this place. And highly suggest to stay anywhere but here. You will be definitely disappointed putting your money here.

This was our first time in Prince Edward County and at Cherry Lane Campground and Cottages. The hospitality of the owners was spot on and made for a very relaxing weekend. Too bad we discovered this place so late in the year! Now we have to wait a whole year before we can go back. We stopped by a few micro breweries on the way up, enjoyed a number of campfires, and enjoyed Cherry Lane Campground's amenities such as their kayaks. Lots of fun!! Thanks!!

We had a great experience at Cherry Lane! The cottage was amazing, clean and very comfortable. We rented Cottage 1, which had a view of the water. It was truly amazing! It's close to wineries, sandbanks beach and cute shops! We cannot wait to book again for next summer! Highly recommend!

This campground was absolutely lovely and I would come back in a heartbeat — lovely water and scenery. We were very lucky to have good weather and fantastic sunsets every night of our stay. The campground itself was well kept and the recent renovations served it well! The owners were very kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend it to others!

We visited in September and while it was colder weather than expected we loved our visit with friends and enjoyed our first campfires of the season. The owners were responsive and very helpful when needed! We… loved the views and the canoe rides. Can’t wait to return in the summer and hope to stay in one of the lovely waterfront cottages! Also walking distance from a great shop with food, liquor and goodies to include ice cream! Perfect spot to stay in PEC and close to sandbanks!

This is a campground with Trailers and various-sized homes/cabins to rent.

I gave it a 3 Star rating, but it really depends on the individual trailer you end up in. Ours was not that good. Others are very nice.
The place is run by a very nice, hard working couple. They are renovating trailers/cabins one at a time and they just took over about a year ago. (This campground had been around for over 20 yrs and was not being looked after, prior to this couple coming in).
If considering this campsite, Be very aware
