Log Cabin Point
Small and family oriented, we are uniquely situated on a point of land just outside the famous Sandbanks Provincial Park. With East Lake on one side of us and the Outlet River on the other, all our cottages and seasonal sites are waterfront (see map of grounds.) Spend some quality time cruising on a pontoon boat or fishing for bass or walleye on East Lake.

Canoe down Outlet River and spend the day at the gorgeous Sandbanks beach (we do have boat rentals!), tour beautiful Prince Edward County by bicycle, or just sit back in your lawn chair and enjoy some R 'n R. Whatever you decide to do, let the friendly atmosphere of Log Cabin Point be your home away from home this vacation.
Services
Combining simple County charm with modern conveniences, our cottages offer you a place to relax and have fun with your family. Eight cottages are available spring through fall. Please see our Map of Grounds for their locations. This historic building dates back to circa 1830. It's been lovingly restored to retain its original charm and features an enclosed porch, cedar and pine log walls, antique harvest table, and clawfoot bathtub.
East Lake sports walleye fishing as well as bass, pike and all the pan fish you can catch. And boating or canoeing down the Outlet River is not only a wonderful pastime, it's also a terrific way to get to the beautiful sandy beach at Sandbanks Provincial Park. Lots of choices for rentals: Pontoon boats, motor boats, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and a paddleboat (including safety gear and life jackets).

Great place and hosts, very helpful and accommodating. Cottages are clean and have all you need for your stay. Only downside is hard to find a spot, book early!

Had a wonderful time here! Owners Connie and Jamie are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the log cabin this time, and we were very comfortable within this rustic setting. It was so peaceful and calm. It was exactly what we needed. This was our second stay here, and we will definitely be back!

I have stayed here every year for the past 4 years for the CASC autocross weekend in Picton. Always picturesque and accommodating. I really like the rustic historic cabin we had the privilege of staying in one year. Many thanks. Who ever gave 1 star rating below, didn't understand what this is- these are basic cabins- its the environment and scenery and owners that win here. darcy

Great place, great location, boat and kayak rentals are great, right on the water, with beautiful dock to chill out and bring water trampoline for the kiddos. Jamie & Connie are great hosts, highly recommend renting if you get a chance.

Enjoyed our stay in A Heritage Log cabin. Rustic but very spacious. Great fishing just steps from every cabin. Boat rentals as well as other watercraft is available on site.
