We have both short and long term storage options available. Just ask your estimator to include a storage option when we are giving you our fixed quote for your move.

We'll tell you about ourselves and our company, and provide a firm written quote (which includes all ferry charges to Vancouver Island and specialty wrappings for your furniture).

This review is long overdue. We moved from the Lower Mainland to the Island last year and couldn't have been happier with the service. This is not our first long distance move/experience with movers so can confidently say that this company is miles above what we have experienced before - price was fair, service was exceptional and David's ability to estimate space/weight is remarkable (it's like he has a computer in his head). I've had these Dave and his team move my stuff three times now, including a rickety old piano once, and I'm almost sorry (ALMOST) that I won't be moving again for a while because they're just plain fun to have around. Dave lets you know up front what to expect, and everybody shows up on time and does their thing. They treat everything with the utmost of care, are thoughtful and efficient, and just all-around decent human beings. Estimates have always been within the quote, and everything has run smoothly. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone!

Dave and his moving company are pros! They are courteous, on time and always professional. I am a home stager, and I give all my business to Van City Moving. Their pack up services are meticulous, and they do a great job moving and taking care of your property and your possessions. I highly recommend them for personal and commercial moves. FYI - there's a 3 hour minimum for these guys.
In case you do what we did and check reviews then ask for quotes over the phone, we weren't informed of the 3 hour minimum over the phone, even when we stated that the job would take 1 - 2 hours max.
We used these movers and they were pretty speedy, but even though the job took 90 minutes, we were billed for 3 hours. It was just an unloading job, and we didn't use a truck (which is part of the 3 hour minimum deal) but still got charged for that service. We weren't informed of the minimum time frame ahead of time, and I have used
