Papa's answer: We are happy to deal with whatever preparations are not completed by moving day. If you have the time, there are some steps to take before moving day. Consider a move as if you yourself are the mover. Then you will be more aware of the possible nicks, scrapes and even breakage that sometimes occur in the most careful of moves.

Papa's Moving are exceptional! Cody effortlessly got us through a very complicated move, significantly lowering our stress. They were super professional throughout, and always had smiles on their faces too. More details: they REALLY take their time to move all the boxes and furniture, which could be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. I had never seen the movers to be so careful with the furniture. So you really don’t need to worry about anything, but the time! Moving my 1 bedroom apartment takes about 3 hours every time, but with them it took 4.5 hours. So you will end up paying a bit more.

We used Papa’s Moving over the weekend for the second time. Couldn’t have been easier, the guys were respectful and well mannered, hard working and took good care not to damage our stuff or the freshly painted walls in our new condo. They showed up at 10 AM and by 4 PM all our worldly possessions from our 2 BDRM condo were neatly stacked in the new unit.
Moving companies can be so questionable...usually it seems like you either get horrible service for a good price, or have to pay through the nose for good service. Papa’s Moving is the best of both worlds...high quality at a reasonable price

Beware of this company if you change your mind. I made a $100 deposit for the 29th of the month and they said it's non-refundable. I was able to find another mover for the 30th of the month and told them a week in advance of the move. I checked with them and they did find another person to take the spot, but would not give back my $100 deposit. Morally and ethically wrong on top of the fact that moving is already so expensive. I'm the second person to take the spot on the 29th, so they are now holding onto $200, on top of the money they'll make for the move they are doing.

We used Papa’s Moving Company to make our move from our townhouse on the west side of Vancouver to a condo near False Creek. Two other family members have also used this company for specific moving needs. I can’t say enough good things about this great company! They are extremely professional and energetic and consistently demonstrate a work ethic that is very much appreciated! I can’t recommend these guys strongly enough! After two moving companies said my project was too challenging, these guys came in, took care of it and made the job simple and stress free. Five stars all the way! Brent responded to my inquiry quickly providing a reasonable quote and scheduling options. The movers showed up right on time and were patient when there was a slight delay on my end. They were nice, efficient, and even made sure to unload things into my storage unit so that boxes I'd need first were in the front and accessible. Made my move a breeze.

We were moving my 2 bedroom apartment from Vancouver to California and wanted to pack my boxes. And I wanted manpower help. I called Papa's. I was tensed because of the international move. But Brent assured that they had handled such cases and that I did not have to worry. As my move date arrived I realized that it was simpler to move my stuff to the trailer in Surrey rather than have the trailer parked in front of my apartment. I used this moving company twice in the past week. Each time the crew was extremely professional and polite. They turned up on time or early. The office was button down - sending updates, receipts etc. Nothing left to chance. Everything detailed. I would definitively recommend this company and they would be my first call for the next move.
