Sentenashi Karate School
Alberta's only Professionally Recognized, Certified, Educational Institution for the study of Karate-Do since 1998. Sentenashi Karate School is an approved Certified Educational Institution by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) 7009/12091. Classes structured to help students reach their goals, whether it be for awareness, recreation, traditional, or sport related.

In addition to specialized classes, all active Sentenashi members have access to a continuously growing Sentenashi virtual library. The competitive stream of Sentenashi with the focus of success on the provincial, national and international competitive stages. Open to existing Sentenashi students 11+ years, Green belt or higher (or at the discretion of the Sensei) who have consciously made the decision that karate is "their sport of choice".

Evolving from Seido-Kan Karate, which was first establish in 1977 in Southern Ontario, Sentenashi Karate has grown into Alberta's only professional Japan Karate-do Federation recognized karate school and certified educational institution.

At Sentenashi Karate School, there are different streams to fit one's karate goals whether it be for awareness, recreation, tradition, or sport and the Sensei's are here to make sure you reach your martial arts potential.
Sentenashi Karate School is an educational institution in Canada that is certified by the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. The tax credits for tuition, education amounts and textbooks are non-refundable tax credits. There is a Federal tax credit as well as a provincial or territorial tax credit for tuition, education and textbook amounts.
The 10 principle skills selected for the Sentenashi Program are broken down into specific requirements that each student must tackle at every belt level. There are 10 belt (Kyu) levels total, which means that your child will dramatically progress through all 10 skills as they increase in belt rank.
Sentenashi students follow a specific path through our specialized classes as displayed below for Kyu progression (Colored Belts) and Degree progression (Black Belt levels). Each student begins at the Beginner Level or White belt and continue through Chapters 1 - 10 to the Advanced Level (Brown Stripe belt).

Attended that school as a kid from ages 5-15. Good instruction with great teachers who somehow wrangled my wild self into a disciplined and dedicated student all the way to my 1st degree black belt. Would recommend for anyone looking to try karate.
