Even as healers, we know it's hard to commit to taking care of yourself. At August Moon Spa, we like to reward self care and we do this with our passport program. The passport is a completely free rewards program which allows our guests to earn points when they receive services or make retail purchases.

Combining some of our favorite elements of herbs, heat and stretching, this treatment has a wow factor all its own! The Herbal Poultice massage uses steamed herb packs that are rolled and compressed along the body in combination with full body stretch massage techniques blended artfully into an integrated massage leaving the client in full body relaxation and bliss.
Still have questions about spa services or looking to see about availability? In this treatment your therapist uses heated lava stones that have been smoothed by river currents in combination with grape seed oil to perform flowing Swedish strokes along all of the muscle groups of the body. The heat from the stones dissipates into the muscle tissue, leaving you with the experience of deep-felt work without the use of deep pressure massage.

I had a very professional deep tissue massage here which last 1 hour. Before and after I could use sauna and steam room as well as relaxation rooms where there was a variety of teas, nice meditation music and comfortable chairs. My friend had an algae body wrap which was combined with a slight massage including face massage. We both were very satisfied with the place and the Services! Highly recommed!

I had an amazing massage experience. Rebekah was really wonderful, she focused on the problem areas and also provided me some tips. I walked out with relaxed and pain free shoulders. The staff at August noon spa was very courteous, this will be my go to spa now onwards!

I have been to August Moon Spa on more then one occasion and I have alway had an wonderful experience! However the last experience having a poultice massage was next level!! My therapist, Jazmine was absolutely incredible adept and efficient at the her practice! After my visit I felt rejuvenated and refreshed. The experience helped me to alleviate tension an and muscle cramps and increased my circulation. The experience was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend August Moon of you want to feel invigorated and relieved!

August Moon is my favorite spa in Ithaca. I’m a bit of a spa junkie and have been to spas across the country and even a few internationally. August moon is up there with the best I’ve visited. Their staff is professional and personable. Their facilities are calming and private. Their house made products are mostly local and vegan! Even through covid they have been able to maintain impeccable service.

I went to my friend's bachelorette party at August Moon Spa and it was a real highlight to her wedding weekend. We were able to chat and re-unite in the tranquility room and everyone really enjoyed their treatments. It was nice to be able to use the sauna and steam room as well. Very fun, experience and everything went smoothly. Thank you!

Hosted a bachelorette party for a group of 10. The staff was so a accommodating, professional and stayed in touch. Everything was perfect and every one had an amazing time! Lisa C. gave an amazing hotstone massage and I will be asking for her again. Will be glad to host more events here as well as treat myself on occasion!

This is a hard place to review. The services were excellent! I had an algae wrap and my husband and I had a couples massage. The 3 star review is due to the facility. The spa needs to be updated. Chairs in the tranquility area were fabric that makes me think hard to clean. Paint peeling in the ladies locker. The rooms were very dark from the onset. I get lowering the lights for relaxation but I also like to see that everything is clean. I hope some updates are made becase the services were really excellent.
