My mother and I were walking around the Cachet Centre (on Woodbine and 16th Avenue) and saw that this place offered e-light hair removal. We walked in and was greeted with a bit of apprehension which was a bit strange since we didn't even ask about any specific services. I asked for a listing of services offered along with the costs associated, the lady at the front desk proceeded to give us the pamphlet. Before asking about the e-light hair removal, the lady seemed hesitant to speak to us which still seemed quite weird. When I eventually inquired about it the first thing she says goes like this

I went to this nail salon after purchasing a Groupon offer. It was my first time there and I didn't know what to expect. I told them right away that I purchased the Groupon and they redeemed it on my phone. I was then taken to get my shellac manicure. The girl did an amazing job. She took her time and made sure each coat of nail polish was the same. 1 week later and my nails still look amazing. Definately recommend this salon.

I bought a Groupon for a shellac manicure. When I called to make an appointment the person who answered simply said "hello" instead of "hello skyer beauty spa"; that always annoys me because I then worry about whether or not I've called the right number. Anyway I was able to get an appointment for the exact date and the me I wanted. They took my Groupon number over the phone so I didn't have to print it out or even show it to the person who greeted me. There was very little talking, I paid the tax and tip up front because I'm always paranoid about ruining the

I used a Groupon for One Shellac Manicure.
The place is tiny and hidden in a large plaza. It looks a tad sketchy from the outside, and the staff speak limited English.
However, they did an AMAZING job on my shellac. It was the perfect texture and she did a very good job of cleaning my nails/ cuticles. I would definitely recommend.

Bought a Groupon deal for a shellac manicure. The place was clean but I was confused by a closed doors when I tried to enter the salon. Then I saw a buzzer and someone opened the door. As you enter there's a rack of slippers that you have to wear and are made for tiny feet it seems. I didn't find my size so had to adjust to whatever they had which was uncomfortable.
To my surprise there was only one lady doing nails while other 3 were going back and forth and not doing anything. When the other customer came, the lady was switching back and forth between the both of us. My nails took

I bought a deal from Groupon and made many failed attempts to make an appointment at Skyer. It's pretty difficult to even make an appointment. Especially when the lady found out that it's a Groupon deal, it felt like they were less inclined to book an appointment. Apparently, there's only one lady that does nails and she's off on random days. (Sketchy?) I ended up having to refund my Groupon deal. Groupon was nice enough to let me use the credit towards something else. Overall, it was a waste of my time. Don't let their low prices fool you.

I recently bought a groupon for lash extensions for $45 - I was pretty excited since I love getting lash extensions. I went in this week to redeem my Groupon and I was asked to pay $5 in tax and a tip right off the bat since "groupon doesn't take tax". My lash experience was okay, communication was kinda tough so I asked her if I can show her a picture of how I wanted my lashes done but she said she wouldn't understand from the picture so I went with whatever lashes - she told me the size and I just said okay I'll go with that. She did a good job putting them on (however

I used the Groupon for the Shellac Manicure. I called in to make an appointment, but the staff can't really speak English. They asked me for my voucher number, confirmed it, and then hung up without asking my name or phone number to book the appointment so I assumed they just penciled me in with my caller ID number? The day before the appointment I got a text message confirming my number (so make sure you don't call from a land line lol). You have to be buzzed in to enter the spa. Everyone speaks in their language and makes you feel awkward. They don't make small talk with you (which

This place is WAY UNDER STAFFED. I waited 30 mins for a pedicure I had an appointment for. The place does not look very clean and the staff were eating. I wanted them to use a pumice stone instead of a grater and they said they didn't have one! Staff seem uninterested, but somewhat friendly. Overall they did a good job, but don't expect good service. Prob never go back again.

I went to this spa to fix my eyelash extensions (which I had done by Lashes by Lana, which fell out after a few days, bought Groupon coupon) Amy at Skyer Spa did an amazing job! Place is very clean and calm. I ended up getting a pedicure as well. Bought a Groupon for this spa and was totally satisfied with the service.

Absolutely deceiving. We went with a Groupon for a manicure and we were charged an extra 5$ for a third colour when it did not specify anywhere that this was the case. The employee said "ya we just tell our customers about the charge when they come in". Seriously? We called prior to going and made it clear we had a groupon for a manicure, and wanted to know how much a pedicure would cost. The lady on the phone said they had a special for 16.99$ so we thought that was a good deal. When checking out they said the pedicure was 28$ because were using a groupon when our previous conversation

Won't be coming back nor buying groupons for this place. Lack of customer service. They make your take your shoes off upon entering. Didn't feel very clean. The workers didn't seem too thrilled to be there. There was no music on, so it was uncomfortable dead silence. And I mean DEAD silence, other than the buzzing noise of the not so greatly working massage chair and the periodic duck ringtone on the workers cell phone. Forgot to mention I was there with my mom for a pedicure. We were in and out within 20 minutes, and this was without any colour. They used just the one file to remove

I bought a Groupon a while back for a shellac manicure. It had an expiration date of the first week of January, so I had to act fast.
I called the number on my Groupon to make an appointment. The phone just rang. It went to voicemail. The message stated that the number does not accept voicemail.
Roughly five minutes later, I received a call. I had to ask who it was. The woman said that she was from Skyer. Okay, so the business has caller display. I booked my appointment.
The business phone number is a cell phone. I got a text message the day before my appointment, indicating that my appointment
