In the Italian artistic tradition, disegno carries a more complex meaning than just 'design'; it involves both the ability to render the drawing and to imagine the design. Within that lies my commitment to find fresh ideas in unlikely sources, far from the realm of jewellery: vertebrae, motorcycle hand-grips, the span of a girder, a range of mountains, a hyperbolic paraboloid.
Platinum rings set with the finest of natural and rare gems. Exquisitely cut, delicate stones focussing on uncommonly coloured sapphires, spinels, tsavorite and rhodolite garnets and other unique gems. I've saved my finer, faceted and delicate pairs of gems for this collection. Two studs are available, either the Grapes or, if you're more of a minimalist, the Midolline (named after the wee pasta of this same shape). In both cases, the studs can be worn alone and the drops removed. The drops are hung the same way for both the studs and are interchangeable.
Solid 18k gold rings. A particular emphasis on green and rose 18k gold, set with voluminous cabochons of one of a kind gems. En cabochon is the jewellery term for these un-faceted domed gems, and Disegno loves them big and deeply saturated. See something you like that's been sold?
