We are so grateful to the team at the Playspace for providing our child with a wonderful, engaging and safe environment to learn and play. After issues at a previous centre we had some trepidation about whether a daycare facility would be beneficial for our child. Now, a few months in, our child is growing in independence, confidence, competency, curiosity and development. Most importantly, she comes home extremely happy every day. After touring literally every facility and home daycare we could find, we quickly realized how special The Playspace is! The owners are incredible... so knowledgeable and loving. We have had the most wonderful experiences here and are so fortunate to have found such a caring daycare for our son Jaxon. The staff are wonderful, and the owners work so hard to make sure we have a safe environment for our kiddos. I would highly recommend The Playspace to anyone looking for care for their little ones.

We joined PlaySpace this past winter at the recommendation of a friend who had their toddler enrolled. We found the place to be well kept, the programming sounded quite impressive and the meals nutritional. Unfortunately, from the moment we started transition we had one problem after another with the owner, Bill. We found him to be extremely unprofessional and condescending as new parents navigating childcare for the first time.
We were left with no choice but to pull our toddler out of the centre immediately after we were yelled at in front of other children and parents during drop off.
My recommendation

Extremely professional and well managed daycare/pre-school. We moved to Kanata in the summer of 2019 and enrolled my youngest son (3) after several disappointing visits and tours of other facilities in the area. This centre is clean, staff are engaged, and courteous. Shortly after moving, I learned that I would unexpectedly be away for work for 11 months leaving my spouse with two young boys under 6. We researched and visited multiple daycares in the area and even had trial sessions in a few of them and this centre was by far the best fit for us. My son loved it when we did the walk through. I appreciated that the owner was well informed and had a good understanding of the health and safety requirements. It was going to be my son’s first experience with daycare/preschool and it was hard at first dropping him off with tears in his eyes but I knew the staff were kind and he adjusted so quickly. Such an amazing daycare! Great owners, teachers, food, flexible hours! My daughter studied there since she was 18 months, and she learned so many things. I will always recommend!

We are sooooo beyond happy to have found this spot. Our girl loves it and its so nice to drop her off without any worries after having nad experiences elsewhere. The owners are incredibly nice people and have really made this our best daycare experience to date ( 6 years of dealing with daycares between our 2 girls) The facilities are always so clean and organized and we are always kept in loop on everyday activities or issues. We are so thrilled with our experience we have had at the Playspace. Our Daughter started just a few months ago, and she is making huge strides in speech (which she was delayed in), and also showing so much interest in a number of different area's. We LOVE the hours, and the staff has been fantastic, they care so much. Totally recommend The playspace to anyone looking.

Really nice daycare centre. Our daughter has a great time when we drop her off. The owners are fantastic and the toddlers group has an amazing teacher.
Update after 2 years: Still an AMAZING place and only improving. I cannot say enough about this daycare centre. It is so clean and well run. The owners Bill and Jen care so much about the kids, as do the amazing staff. My daughter is benefitting greatly from being there. I would rate them above the Montessori centers in Ottawa.
