All activities at Brown Bear Day Care, be they teacher-directed or child-directed, indoor or outdoor, will present a constant opportunity for fine and gross motor development as well as social interaction with peers and teachers.Their intellect will be continually stimulated throughout the active part of their day through responsive, respectful adult-child interactions capitalizing on teachable moments.

We are a provincially licensed child care centre providing a home-like environment for our children. Our program fees are set according to Ministry guidelines for child-teacher ratios. A two-week childcare deposit is required upon enrolment and is calculated with the daily rate. This deposit is applied to your child's last two weeks of care at Brown Bear.

This is honestly an amazing daycare! We couldn’t be happier with the care and service received. Cindy and the management team always take the time to answer questions and discuss developmental milestones - they are knowledgeable & great communicators! The food and snacks are healthy and high quality. The activities are stimulating and thoughtful. They use a handy little app and provide photos and updates throughout the day - so nice to see! They have also been very diligent during the pandemic. I would give this daycare 6/5 stars if I could. Thanks everyone for everything you do for our son!
