Very dishonest and corrupt individuals. Overpriced and unreliable equipment. Maybe a one or two person operation (meaning you can only get a hold of one individual if you have any problems or issues). I rented a skidsteer from this company and they delivered it empty (no fuel), and it broke down after the first 30 minutes. The individual I was dealing with said we broke the machine and would not refund our rental charge. One of the guy name is Ben he is the waste of the waste guy I call him 100' time's and 100' time's messages. I ordered gravel 2 weeks ago I pay for Wash gravel and they send me all with unwashed ...I don't recommend anything from them......

Called to buy gravel posted for $35 per cubic yard with free trailer if I could p/u in Balzac. He called & said the trailer was ready & waiting for me,it was not. Upon getting the trailer hooked up & gravel loaded I was told the minimum charge was$80.
Very unprofessional & no receipt, so I would guess they are not claiming this to the government for GST & taxes.
I felt completely scammed,after all it was posted for $35 with free trailer.

Was going to rent stumpgrinder. All set with then for delivery and also with my client.
Just wanted to check if every is OK day before and I was told that the stumpgrinder is not available and thats it ... woo-hoo, nice to deal with these people. 👍

You can come to my yard by the Costco in Balzac with your own trailer and we give the bobcat ONLY !!
8am to 8pm for : $149
OPTION # 2
I can put the bobcat in my dump trailer and I will provide you with the bobcat and a 14'x7' dump trailer
The cost for both pieces is :
8am to 5pm : $280 or 24 hour rental is $390
OPTION # 3
I can offer you free delivery and free pick up anywhere in calgary

I rented a trailer for the weekend for $150 with a $150 deposit. Sure enough I did not get my deposit back making it an expensive rental. Should have went with Uhaul. The trailer was dirty inside and the roof leaked, so when it rained all my furniture was wet! Will be registering my complaint with BBB!

Ben and his team at YYC Equipment Rental were absolutely amazing! Extremely helpful and courteous to my husband and I. Their rates were affordable and everything was done on time and on budget. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS!!

Wow! We just had a great experience with Ben and the folks at YYC Equipment Rental. Our rental process was affordable and without issue. They even spent some extra time walking me through the process of how to safely and accurately use the equipment we rented. I still cant believe how easy this rental was! Thanks Ben!!

Good equipment, but extremely unprofessional from a business standpoint. Their yard is not at the address on the website, the equipment that was promised was not at the rental yard and I had to drive 20 minutes in the opposite direction to go pick it up, was accused of not refuelling upon equipment return, and had to fight for a week after returning the equipment to get my $500 deposit back. Will not be using them again.

I didn't personally do business with them. the last snow fall we had Ben helped me after i slid off the road and offered to pull my truck out with his bobcat that he was using in the parking lot he was plowing next to me. it was amazing that he helped me.

I rented a skid steer (bobcat) and a plate compactor. They worked with me to minimize my use time and cost. The prices were the same as Home depot for small power tools and is more convenient for my. I will use them again.

Overcharged on advertised price. I chose these guys because they advertised a half day rental including trailer, which I confirmed verbally and by text. No issues with equipment, but was overcharged almost three times as much, they cited fuel and a trailer charge. I forgot about fuel and offered to pay for what I used, but not the trailer (which apparently costs more then the bobcat rental). Would not recommend these guys, and will be filing a formal complaint. Update: I had some back and forth with the owner which border on infuriating and entertaining. I guess the customer IS NOT always right
