Long story, short: unprofessional on move out and move in. Items not returned, items returned damaged and no apology for any of the inconvenience.
Very disappointed in the service provided by Action Contents who were brought in to move my contents after a flood.
During the initial move out the staff were quite unprofessional leaving keys to both the building and my condo in the doors themselves...unattended. At some point during the move they took a break and left my sliding door wide open and my unit unlocked. When the job was done not only had they left items of mine behind but also some of

These guys were awesome! They did a move for me this past weekend, from Kitsilano to SW Marine Dr. The guys were on time and ready to work. Jessie and Bobby were awesome guys, friendly and hard working. They got my move done on time, and spot on with the price that was quoted. Moves are stressful, but these guys made it easy and smooth.

Thank you to the two movers I had at the start of the month (March) They turned a stressful day around with professionalism and a hard working attitude. I marked my furniture and boxes with posted notes to show which room they should be placed in and everything went where it belonged : ) This may sound like a simple task but it was appreciated non the less. 100% would use them again.

I hired Action Movers for a local move. They showed up on time and were so pleasant and nice.
I moved from a 2 brdm condo to a 2 bdrm townhouse and it took 7.5 hours. Given, I had the worlds slowest elevator but it should not have taken that long.
They ended up calling up another guy to help which ended up costing me more.
At one point, I walked out to see what was taking so long, one of the guys was standing beside the truck waiting to be told what to do because the guy in charge didn't like the way he packed the truck. *Sigh* Then, when they were moving things out of my storage

We used Action Movers recently for a move and the guys were nice, showed up on time and got to work. In the end they did a good job moved everything great BUT what was never told me to was the extra costs involved. When I received my quote i was for roughly 4-6 hours which in the end took that long but with the extra hour travel fee and Fuel Surcharge fee that added almost an extra $200 to the final bill. I really wish they were up front with their costs and not honest from the get go. I understand if there are extra fees and that's fine but BE HONEST and put that in your quote. I will probably

I hired Action Movers for a 1 bedroom move from Vancouver to Calgary, based on positive online reviews, BBB rating and the competitive quote they offered. Unfortunately, my move was subcontracted to another company (Canadian Van Lines) without my knowledge. The subcontracted company has an F rating on BBB due to many unresolved complaints. In the end the move turned out to be very stressful and more costly than the original estimate.
My advice is to ask any prospective moving company if they will subcontract any work, and if so look up the company they are using and make sure they aren't

When I hired Action Movers I was really in a stitch! I was living in Cambodia and subletting my downtown apartment-the renters I had gave short notice and with less than 24 hours notice Action Movers packed up my entire place and moved it all to Kelowna with no problems whatsoever.
It was 100% stress free and all my stuff arrived safely! I would definitely recommend this company and use them again in the future.

I booked Action Movers back in 2010 on a recommendation from a friend. The company he worked for frequently did staging and interior decor work, always using Action Movers. When I talked to them on the phone, the person I spoke with was all about giving me discounts for the recommendation from my friend, and a mid-month discount (15th of the month). I made sure to give all the details about access to the old apartment (basement, hallway had two 90-degree corners in opposite directions, like a Z, archway was slightly smaller than the doorway), and the new apartment (2nd floor, walkup, no elevator

Movers were good, but be aware of surcharge and take any estimate over the phone with a chunk of salt. When I booked the move I was led to expect a charge in the neighborhood of $600-$800 for my one bedroom apt. Final tally was about $1300 including a fuel surcharge of over $100 for a move of about 3km. Read the fine print.

I had a great experience with action movers. They moved my business and my personal apartment all in the same day. It was a long day, but the team was friendly... Worked hard, and had some funny stories to tell. All my furniture made it safe and sound as well. Next time I move either space I will be calling them back. Thanks guys

I used Action movers to move a short distance, boy was i ever disappointed. First they showed up and hour late. 2 guys to do a small 1 bedroom apartment. They took forever moving things trying to drag out the time. Charged me extra because they couldnt get my couch in the elevator and had to carry it up stairs. I am still missing items, I called and they denied there was anything left in the truck. All in all they broke my budget and made me think twice about doing my research the next time I moved.
