Our moving company, Metro Vancouver Movers, has been working hard to bring more creative ideas to make our client's move easier. For instance, providing sanitized plastic moving boxes free of charge has been one of these ideas. To quote our clients, it makes their "packing and moving process so easy."
Our base hourly rate for moving is $140.00 per hour for two movers and a truck for our moving services. We calculate the moving time once we start work at your place of origin and stop when we finish at your final destination. Our moving company in the Lower Mainland doesn't charge you for travel time, or the time that we are coming to start your move.

Did not respect fragile items. Placed everything in living room then left. Overcharged for one hour and only accept one type of credit card. All three movers did not wear a mask during the whole duration of the move. We were all in close proximity and I felt uncomfortable as one was coughing occasionally. They did not want to work outside of office hours which is understandable. However, we were told we would get five hours but the office closed so we were only able to get 4. And we were still charged for five hours. The receipt has the wrong info on it as well.

I have personally used Metro Vancouver Movers since 2008 and more than 30 of my friends and family have used Metro Vancouver Movers for their moves.
I used them yesterday Sat January 16, 2022 to move and as usual the service was fantastic.
The team lead by Farhad and his team did a great job of ensuring each of the items are securely packed and moved. They took care of each of item professionally and moved.

Had a fantastic experience with Metro Vancouver Moving company. The staff were very professional and really knew what they were doing. Very fast and efficient. The lead person Sam was fantastic and his team with Marcus and Vladimir were great. We felt very comfortable in how they handled our delicate items and had some nifty tricks in getting around difficult big items. The best part were the use of their moving boxes that they gave to us a few days prior to moving to safely pack and store many small items and appliances. Wow what a great service. USE THEM you will not regret it is all I can say

Great movers and the provided moving bins are a huge help at organizing before the move and cutting down on waste. Metro Vancouver Movers moved us from our 1br apartment into our new home in Vancouver and it was a great experience.
Dakota, Sam, Mohamad, and Mustfa hustled hard today and provided great service to complete the entire move in 2 hours instead of the 4-5 we booked. Getting those extra hours to start unpacking and cleaning was a big benefit.

Sam and team helped us move our piano. As other piano/instrument owners know - it is extremely important to find a mover that is professional and experienced. I was very happy with the way they did the move, it was quick and efficient, and clearly they knew what they were doing. In addition, I really liked that they are very communicative - they got back to me quickly with a quote, I got a call the day before they came to confirm, and they even called me when they were on route. I'd highly recommend these guys!

Great working with Metro Vancouver Movers for our long distance move from Calgary to Vancouver. Communication was excellent over the phone and they accommodated a couple of date changes without any hassle. They showed up on time in Calgary, well prepared with all necessary moving equipment and worked quickly and efficiently to safely load all of our boxes and furniture. On arrival in Vancouver, they showed up with a few extra guys to speed up the unloading process. I very highly recommend Metro Vancouver Movers for a long-distance move!

I could not be more pleased with the service we received from Metro Van Movers. They were excellent on the phone scheduling our appointment, confirming and sending documentation to be signed. They delivered sturdy, black and yellow boxes 10 days before our move to pack our items. Not one thing was broken!!
They arrived promptly the day of the move and worked tirelessly until the end, approx 7 hours in pouring rain all day.
They were friendly, and careful with our belongings and home. Our dog was on site the whole time and they were very sweet to him.
I would HIGHLY recommend these movers!!

David and Raymond helped me move and I couldn't have hoped for better service. They arrived on time. Super professional and friendly. Got a big job done quickly and I had the rest of my day free. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Metro Vancouver movers. They arrived on time, had us packed and out of our existing home in less than an hour. Upon arrival at new place, they had the truck unloaded quickly and helped us set up the bed and ensured that the furniture was exactly where we wanted it. The guys were friendly, professional and we felt we were treated with respect. A great company, a fair price, We highly recommend these guys for your next move.

I hired these guys for moving and packing based on the Yelp reviews. My experience was v different. The owner, Farshad, dropped the ball often, from communicating to the estimate to over promising and under delivering. I had a one bedroom apt and told him I had lots of stuff plus a locker full to be moved. He said he would come by to view. He didn't. He said he would email me the estimate. He didn't. I had to keep chasing him to get back to me about things.
