A bit about my sorted past. I am a Saskatchewan boy, born and raised in the heart of oil and farming country. I grew up in the very small but pleasant town of Maidstone Saskatchewan. It was a special place to grow up as I still have many childhood friends and have many fond memories of camping, bike riding, and exploring the countryside.
Let me tell you a little bit about me, I was born in London, England but my parents made a transformational decision to throw in the urban existence and we emigrated to rural Alberta when I was 8 years old. I grew up on a cattle and grain farm in the Red Deer area. Some of my fondest memories of my upbringing were the wonderful freedoms that come with growing up with space; dirt biking, sledding, herding cattle on horseback to name a few.
Hello from Signature Orthodontics! A little bit about me, I am a local girl, born and raised in Edmonton. After finishing grade 12 at Ross Sheppard High School (some of you probably go/went there too), I went to the University of Alberta where I obtained my degree in Dentistry. And this is where I met Dr. Ian and Dr. Shawn, over 20 years ago!
As recommended by the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, we prefer to see children by the age of 7 to advise if treatment is required and the best time for that patient to begin orthodontic treatment. The first permanent molars and incisors have usually come in by that time and cross bites, crowding and other problems can be evaluated.

My daughter started with Signature Orthodontics after she completed chemotherapy, the chemotherapy had caused a big mess with her developing teeth.

My son who has autism went to signature for his first appointment ever. The staff exceeded my expectations, they made him feel so comfortable that they were able to get all of the pictures, X-rays, and check up they needed. He normally cries and panics just sitting in a dentist chair, but not there, it was as if he had been going there for years. I was one proud mom, and he was one proud and happy boy!!! Thank you 😊

The staff are absolutely amazing! They are always so kind and friendly. The Orthodontists are all very knowledgeable and are very personable. I've been through orthodontics twice due to issues later on and I can say with absolute confidence that Signature Orthodontics is the best place to go. Highly recommended!

We had our first visit / consultation not even 2 years ago and couldn’t have been more pleased with your office. Not only was it clean and easy to find but everyone in that office was so wonderful and friendly. My daughter left feeling confident and excited about getting braces and that alone made the visit worth while. The rewards program motivated her to take care of her teeth/braces. Here we are about 8 days away from her final retainer check. We are so happy with her results. She can’t stop smiling and that is what it was all about. I don’t usually leave a poor review but I felt all they wanted to do is sell us some very expensive treatment plans. We had two dentists that had their own thoughts which were totally not in alignment with the treatment these guys were proposing. When I asked for all of the reports to be released, they said it was not possible unless we signed up for the full treatment plan. Then, after we expressed our frustrations more than once, they kept calling me back to ask if we wanted to proceed with the treatment. Huh???? I’m lost for more words other than extremely disappointed.

I have been seeing Dr. McKee and his team for just about one year now, and the experience has been wonderful. The office is immaculate, the staff are always a pleasure to interact with. I enjoy seeing Deanna as she is extremely thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. I appreciate that she takes the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and she always makes sure I have everything I need before I leave (elastics, floss, toothbrushes, etc). Her positive attitude always makes for an enjoyable visit. I recommend Signature Orthodontics to anyone who is looking for high quality orthodontic treatment
