Our focus is on you. We are committed to excellence in orthodontics on the journey to creating beautiful and healthy smiles. All of our appointments are appropriately scheduled so that you will spend less time in the waiting room and dental chair, and more time out enjoying the things that make you smile.
We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. We set aside an hour so we can get to know you or your child and learn about your concerns. As part of this complimentary consultation, we will take diagnostic photographs and x-rays. Dr. Lo will then complete a thorough examination and discuss what type of treatment is necessary.
The cost of your orthodontic treatment may vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. During your visit, we'll discuss with you the cost of your treatment, and each of your available payment plan options, so that you are able to make the best choice for you and your smile. We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment.
Our practice recognizes that adults and children have different needs and require different levels of attention and care. We will work with you to ensure you receive the most appropriate treatments and your needs are met with understanding, respect, and full commitment from us. While there is no exact age for children to begin orthodontic treatment, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends a visit to the orthodontist around age seven.
When you have braces it's very important to brush and floss after every meal in order to keep your teeth and gums healthy throughout your treatment. If you need help choosing the right toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss, please ask us and we can help you choose the right products for your teeth and your appliance.

I have had such an amazing experience here at shine orthodontist. Dr. Lo and her entire team is highly knowledgeable and very professional. My appointments were never rushed and my braces were always handled so gently. My treatment was completed on schedule and I love the end result. So grateful for the care I got. Dr.Lo is the best orthodontist in Calgary. She actually cares about her patients and puts care and effort into her work. The staff are always kind and happy to help. My daughter had braces for about a year and even during the pandemic we were able to pick up the elastics. My daughter loved going to the orthodontist and picking out fun colours for her braces. If you are looking for an amazing orthodontist, Dr.Lo is it!

Please go to another business. They are way too overpriced and they don't do a good job in the end. I got Braces from this place, but during the process..the Doctor Dr. Lo had a very demeaning tone and would not listen or cared about anything I had to say. She would always be in a rush to go to the next patient and the whole procsss would feel rush. In the end, there are still gaps in between my teeth and they still wouldn't shave my teeth even though I requested it. The entire process took way longer than suggested.
I dont recommend this place and I wish to remain anonymous.

Dr. Lo and her staff have always been so friendly and accommodating. In the summer my son had his mouth kicked by another kid while camping and as a result it dislodged one of his brackets. We phoned in as soon as we were back to town and were fit in right away. The staff always strive to accommodate booking a time that works for us, especially around school hours.
The facility is always so clean and pretty.
My son just had his braces off yesterday and his smile is so beautiful! His teeth are so straight and he is over the moon. I would highly recommend anyone to use Shine Orthodontics, not only

Excellent experience!!!!!! I’ve just finished my two years of orthodontic treatment and it went really well. My teeth now have a great shape and look much much better than it was two years ago. I really like the atmosphere in Shine Orthodontics, Dr.Lo and all the staffs are nice, friendly and very responsible (they provide the best service experience ever, trust me on that). If anyone is looking for a place to fix their teeth, TRY SHINE ORTHODONTICS!!!!!

Dr. Lo is very professional and knowledgeable. The first time I visited her office, she was welcoming and understanding.
