Dr. Nadia Nizam is an orthodontist in Calgary, Alberta, who specializes in creating beautiful smiles for all ages. She is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Calgary when she met her husband. Although she is a maritimer at heart, she is getting use to the lifestyle of the West.
Dr. Nizam obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Distinction from Dalhousie University, Halifax (2003) and her Master of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics from the University of Western Ontario, London (2009).She is a registered Orthodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists.

I was referred to Dr. Nizam for Invisalign to treat TMJ and some misaligned teeth and was told she is the best in the city, which it turns out she absolutely is! Dr. Nizam has made Invisalign such a smooth process and I am so grateful for her skillful and efficient appointments that are always on time. All of her staff are friendly and helpful and it is such a pleasure seeing all of them. I can't even believe I can say this but ending treatment will be bittersweet because I truly enjoyed my experience so much with this office.

My experience here has always been amazing from the beginning until now. Dr. Nizam and her team are very professional and knowledgeable. A big thank you to their financial coordinator Thao , she went above and beyond helping me with the Insurance claims. They treat me as a family and I am sure other patients experience are the same. Dr. Nizam discussed with me how she think she can help me and I agreed to it and trusted the process. My teeth improved and the smile and confidence that I lost for a long time has come back. Dr. Nadia Nizam is the best orthodontist I have ever come across and her team is absolutely amazing. They work very closely with you though the whole process. Very accessible, answering questions right away at any time and even respond to text messages! I have truly enjoyed my experience so far and have enjoyed every visit. Believe it or not but your appointment time is the actual time you get seen. Imagine that? Great place! Highly recommend!

My 10 year old daughter recently finished an Invisalign program to correct her cross bite. Dr. Nizam, and the Impressions Orthodontics team, were professional, personable, efficient and very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had along the way. Absolutely loved my experience with this office from start to finish. The ladies are so friendly and so welcoming they make the whole experience so smooth. Dr. Nizam is just something else, she's such a lovely person all around and has a gentle hand. Never felt a thing while on treatment. I would 100% recommend this office to friends and family. We have been patients of Dr. Nizam for the past seven years. In that time she has continually amazed us with her warm, caring and thoughtful approach to orthodontic treatment. She has been following both my children from age 6 on. Following their growth, assessing them and helping us weigh the pros and cons to choose the right time to start treatment. What an absolutely joyous staff here! We are so incredibly grateful for our time at Impressions orthodontist. My absolute favourite memory is when my youngest son started Invisalign. He had a very difficult time trying to attach his bands onto his attachments. He ended up getting quite frustrated and started tearing up. Dr. Nizam stopped everything she was doing and stood at the mirror with him and gave him some tips and tricks. She even called him the next day to see how he was doing!
