We are a multi-species animal health care team located in mid-western Ontario, providing species-specific veterinary services. Heartland Animal Hospital and Veterinary Services is proud to offer veterinary services to both small and large animals. We provide Large Animal Services to Midwestern Ontario from our offices in Listowel and Mount Forest. I've been bringing our dogs to Heartland for several years. I've gone to both the Mount Forest & Listowel locations.
The staff is always friendly, compassionate and professional. It's been a huge benefit for our busy family that Heartland has hours on Saturdays as we've needed to be seen on an urgent basis more than once during off hours!!
Unfortunately we had an emergency this past Saturday afternoon. Thankfully Dr. Kim at the Listowel clinic was able to see us right away. She helped us through Iggy's last moments and made sure he wasn't in any pain as he passed.
I highly recommend Heartland

Very good Veterinary Clinic with friendly, helpful staff. My cats receive excellent care. Had to take one star away though because wait times to get appointments are very long; 4 months right now for any routine exams and vaccines. Make sure you book well in advance. Obviously emergencies are still dealt with right away.

We brought our foster dog here while visiting family in the area after he exhibited signs of gastrointestinal distress. The staff were very kind and efficient and had our sweet boy in and out in about 45 minutes and had him much happier leaving than when he went in. We received antibiotics and probiotics and our vet at home has been briefed on all the details. A wonderful experience, all things considered

They are an amazing team.They ensure that your pet gets the best possible care and they are really good at what they do..Dr Emma is one of the best Doctors that I have ever come across.The love ,care and emphatically handling of not only our pet but also us (being first time pet owners)...had taken animal healthcare to a all new level..My puppy had a fall and developed a fracture and the way Dr Emma had guided and helped us was amazing. Their technicians are also doing an amazing job and couldn’t thank them enough for their good work..
