If you feel you could benefit from personal guidance, individual therapy, couples therapy, or family counselling, your next step is to find a therapist who understands your needs and can work with you to identify and resolve your issues. I am a collaborative therapist with over 20 years of counselling and coaching experience.

My counselling practice is based in the Comox Valley. I provide online and phone counselling and therapy to people in BC, Canada, the UK and other countries. I also offer quality improvement guidance, advice, and clinical consulting for professionals and organizations in the Comox Valley, Campbell River, and Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Services
Short term and longer term services are available depending on your needs and problems. Sessions are typically weekly or bi-weekly to start and usually 50-minutes long (including any required paperwork). Together we decide the best course and plan for you.

My approach is collaborative and draws from various theories of practice to allow me to better meet your counselling therapy needs, including Client-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Solution Focused, EMDR, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems, Interpersonal Relational (IPNB informed), and Mindfulness Practice.
For over 20 years, I have been helping individuals, couples, families, and organizations overcome problems, navigate changes, and reach their goals and potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology. I am a registered member (RCC) of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), #3636.
Addictions (support and education for families with loved ones who are addicted to alcohol and/or drugs). Grief & Loss (resulting from death, health changes, job loss, financial difficulties, and other losses). Yes, I do. I work with individuals to help them clarify their values, interests, and goals and bring those to life.
If you answered yes to any of the above, online and phone counselling and therapy may be for you. I offer a convenient alternative to face-to-face counselling sessions. For the past few years, I have offered online and phone counselling and therapy to my clients who travel for work and other purposes.
