Through online counselling, Fran is available to clients across British Columbia and beyond. We often struggle with personal issues that get in the way of happiness, connection, and joy in life. Between my job, partner, kids, and volunteering, I have so many demands that I just can't possibly get them all done.

Services
Fran works with men and women from Campbell River, Courtenay and all over northern Vancouver Island. She helps find practical solutions to personal problems, marriage struggles, and work issues. Individuals, married couples, and common-law couples of all types and stages of life are welcome. Fran welcomes clients from Campbell River, Courtenay, Comox, Black Creek, Cumberland, and from communities across the North Island.
Everyone has problems from time to time in their life, and it can be very helpful to talk confidentially to someone with a neutral perspective, who is supporting and non-judging. Everyone can benefit from counselling. Whether on-line or in person, Fran's style is one of collaboration, using whatever tools will achieve the best results for each client.
Fran is one of only a handful of therapists on Vancouver Island who are trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), an innovative approach developed by psychologist Dr. Richard Schwartz. While she uses other approaches as well, an explanation of IFS is offered by way of introduction to a new way of thinking about therapy.
Whether you're considering moving in with your beloved, planning your wedding, or whether you've been married many years, there are predictable topics that come up in every relationship. Through couples counselling you'll learn the tools to navigate the ups and downs of marriage that can make the difference between a satisfying, happy long-term relationship or the lonely road to separation and divorce.
Practice new skills in a supportive and peaceful atmosphere, with the guidance of a skilled facilitator and privacy to practice with your partner alone. This is not couples therapy! You will not be asked to share any personal information with others. From her 20 years of experience as a therapist, Fran will share what she has learned about what makes some couples succeed while others don't.

Not only a fantastic professional but a fantastic person. I have never talked with someone who is so professional and understanding. Her help with a variety of situations and scenarios has been so helpful in not only my professional life but also my personal life. Thanks Fran, highly recommend to everyone.

I recommended Fran for a friend of mine who was going through a difficult time in life. Here we are just a few short months later and this friend is now gainfully employed and has gotten "joy" back. I cannot thank Fran enough, apparently the transition was smooth and seamless. I would not hesitate to recommend her services should anyone find the need.
