I received a call from Gretchen less than 24 hours after I filled out a form requesting more information. She made the whole process very easy. Her hard work saved us over 5K in burial costs. I have often read reviews of people feeling taken advantage of during funeral planning, but Gretchen went above and beyond to make sure we only paid for what we needed. I would tell everyone to ask for Gretchen.

Worst company to work with ever!! Do not waste your money on their services. Nothing was provided on time or in a timely manner. Getting a death certificate took over a month! Getting a body cream aged took over 30 days! Getting a booklet and slide show from pictures provided, a service that was paid for was like pulling teeth. I would never do business with this company again after seeing how they handled the current situation.

I sat through a free-lunch seminar for another company and was appalled by the hard sell program. The moment ANY company says, 'And if you buy RIGHT now, I can discount....", I know that it is a scam. So I went to the Dignity/SCI website expecting to find clear pricing and services. Instead, I am expected to schedule a meeting or sign up for a lunch meeting. I am guessing that the pricing is based on my zip code. So I wrote to Thomas L. Ryan; Chairman, CEO and President; Service Corporation International; 1929 Allen Parkway; Houston, Texas 77019 asking for information and prices. Three

Daniel Trevino and Elias Leon were really polite and did a wonderful job raising my grandparents headstones after they had sunk in from so much rain

Please don't use Dignity if you want a private and confidential service. It appears they sell your love ones name to less scrupulous organization. Loved one name is posted all over Google and Bing even when presented with legal Power of attorneys. Wishes were not followed. Now has put my family in danger.

I've been absolutely amazed by how much they do for people. I noticed that they are not "sales people" they simply educate , inform, and follow YOUR orders and wishes , not Theirs.
It's truly a humanitarian service.
I wouldn't trust my arrangements with anyone else.

My father passed away and he did not want a service so we had a very private viewing for our family since I had not seen him in a year because I live in Cali. They did a great job on his body. He looked like he did when he was alive and this pleased me but they didn't even give him a pillow case on his pillow. Unfortunately when I was standing… with my father my sister came up to me and said they need money for Dad. I said how much and she said all of it . I followed her into the office and asked how much my mother owed she told me the total at which time I gave her the $600 cash i had and

I could not locate an email address for Dignity San Luis Obispo - so please pass this on.
We had an appointment with Dignity SLO for the death of our father. What a terrible experience. They had no sympathy, tried to upsell us on everything - even charged us $300 to transport our deceased dad 40 Ft. to the crypt. We paid for two crypts when our mom passed, We thought with dad's passing it would be a lot easier. The fellow representing Dignity must have asked us 5 times over each question - "How many years was your dad a carpenter? Do you want his middle name or initial on your name

If I was able to give them zero stars I would. This is a poor excuse for a funeral establishment. The coordinator and the director are unprofessional and lack the sensitivity to the services they are providing.

On the day of my nephew's viewing the coordinator told our guest to clean up 30 minutes prior to 8pm. She is not responsible for the clean up we are. Then had the nerves to get on the microphone and threatened the guest if they don't leave before 7:59 she will lock all the gates in the parking lot.

This was the last time anyone will be given the opportunity to see my nephew to

Avoid Dignity Memorial cemeteries at all costs. Thinking I was doing the right thing, I purchased my dad a pre-need burial plot at a Dignity Memorial Cemetery - Memorial Gardens in Arlington Heights. Two weeks later when my dad found out his cancer spread to his brain, he changed his mind on where he wanted to be buried. My family pleaded with the cemetery to refund us our money so we could buy a plot at the other cemetery so he could be buried with his parents and his brother. We explained the situation to the cemetery and told them this was a dying man's last wish, but still they refused

In Loving Memory of Aldaberto Guerrero [ 1920 - 2010 ].

My wife and I write to express the appreciation and gratitude for the help and service Dignity Memorial provided for our beloved father, Aldaberto Guerrero, who recently passed away.

As family and friends traveled from far and near to visit, to pray and to celebrate the life and times of our father, we were glad to work closely with Ron Young. Mr. Young's approach was professional and personal. His work is valuable and a rarity during an emotional charging event as is any death of a loved one.

One specific example of Ron's
