Very disappointed to see this level of corruption in a Canadian Company. Asset West does not deal with Complains and Appeals in appropriate manners, they ghost your emails and calls, allow the people writing complains to also be the people denying appeals. Still dealing with an issue since September. They hire "mover watchers" that require you to pay in cash without receipts, set unrealistic prices for these people, $150 per hour to watch owners move in/out from their own homes. I cannot say anything about Darren Potter other than when speaking to him he was very rude and disinterested. We actually

Asset West took over management of our condo building a few years ago, what a positive difference. I have had to call our manager several times for items, most recently to assist with frozen pipes and to understand what the condo insurance covers. Darren is our manager, and has been very helpful. Vanessa who answers the phones is also very nice and helpful.

Having worked at one of the worst rated management companies, I can say that without a doubt Assetwest is one of the worst management companies you could hire. We had been through 4 managers in the timeframe of two years. In speaking with Darren he blamed it on the talent pool. I am the president of the board at my condo corp and often times emails go unanswered for weeks. Standard practice for board member reach outs is always 24hrs. There are various times we were not notified that a manager had left or been fired with no return emails or notification. I can say that Karen at Asset west did more

Huge shout out to Karen at the Calgary Asset West team. Since taking over as the management agent of our complex earlier this year, we have only had great service from her. Prompt replies to all requests and always enthusiastic to assist. Operationally, our complex has never been in a better financial position largely thanks to her (also) driving our revenue collection! Very impressed with Asset West since we began working together a few months ago. With no previous experience with tenants or rental properties, Jeff and his team took the stress out of the process. They provided peace of mind to know that the tenants they have selected are taking good care of your property and that they will be there should an issue arise.

I have been waiting for over 5 Months for a refund on a "renovation quote" in order to see if I could install an AC unit. The $76 that I paid allowed me to gain access to a document that ended up being sent to my condo board. My case was dismissed within the day and I was told that I did not need to pay any funds to inquire into a request such as this. I Therefore asked for money back which Asset West replied it would not be an issue. Fast forward to August 24th, and still nothing back. I am the one that drives all communication having followed up twice a month. The replies are always, sorry looking
