Very frustrated, I was in a car crash where I unfortunately had my car completely written off. Such a traumatic experience. My car was towed to a pay less lot. I have been trying to get my valuable belongings from my car including medication that I need. I have called every day for 3 days now. Each time I am told to call back at a later time as Payless Towing are not able to let me onto the lot. Today when I tried again to get the assistance of the Pay Less company the phone agent became extremely rude to the point of aggression. I was told I still could not get to my belongings or my medication

We broke down at midnight on the side of the highway. BCAA quoted us a 2-hr wait time for a tow - but luckily PayLess showed up within 15 minutes and offered to help. First off, they made sure we were OK and safe. The gentleman was very kind, his name was Rob! Rob ensured we were safe, happy, and got the vehicle where it needed to be! A+ for this guy! Would highly recommend their service.

I went to start my car after it sat for 2 months, and it didn't start. A jump and new battery didn't work so I needed a tow to the dealer. Payless got the job done quickly for me at a reasonable price. After reading a lot of nasty reviews for towing services in Vancouver, I was satisfied with the service I received.

One of our fleet vehicles failed to start after our serviceman finished at a customers home in North Vancouver. After a few phone calls to various towing companies, the only one that would be able to get to us in a reasonable amount of time was Payless.
The young lady who answered the phone was very professional.
Initially, the first available truck they sent was not able to get our truck out from between the other parked cars and the retaining wall on the other side of the road. This was more our fault for not properly explaining the conditions. However, they quickly responded and dispatched

Watch out for these guys. They tried to tow my van from a parking lot in Squamish even though there were no signs anywhere. Then tried to claim some spray paint on the ground said "no parking". The very unprofessional driver would only leave after extracting $60 cash.... the whole

I had a fabulous experience with this company last Sunday. I called BCAA when something broke with the shifting in my toy truck while I was a good 7km up some logging roads in Squamis. They immediately talked to Payless who was having such a busy day that their trucks in Squamish were slammed so they sent a truck from North Van. There were some communication issues from BCAA to the Payless dispatcher but I got a call right away and that was cleared up. This company Payless illegally and unethically towed my legally parked car. Then it lied to yelp to remove my honest first hand user experience review. The Squamish tow yard is a horror show of dangerous junk cars. complain to the local , provincial and federal government. Dispute charges on credit card.

I got my car towed by another company and it was 5 star service but later that evening I received a phone call from the company informing me Payless Towing had stolen their truck and were holding both my car and the other company's driver hostage for an old $20 bill, a Big Mac and tickets to the Thomas Rhett concert in Abbotsford.

Please be careful when engaging their services. They have mislead me on the charges; they overcharged by a 40% margin even by their manager's post service disclosure of the rates. I have placed numerous calls asking for an explanation, until I received one 11 days later. When asking for the appropriate refund, the manager, Bob, responded that "they are not in the business to refund any money". Failed to jump my car when the dealership said they did it with no issues. Tow driver said it was the starter and in fact was just a dead battery! So in short I got an unneeded tow from either an incompetent or crooked driver who suggested to go to her buddy's shop to say they replaced an unneeded starter. Wasted mine and my family's time! I don't really know what of the above options is worse. Don't call them if you value your time and money.

My daughter had her car towed from parking in the wrong spot. Their tow yard has no office and their dispatch sends the tow truck driver to meet you in function at their yard. We called and the lady at dispatch said 20 minutes. We waited for over an hour in the pouring rain and dark. We called 3 times and every time she said the driver was just pulling in. The last time I called and told the lady I needed an accurate timeline because my daughter was sick, and it was pretty awful sitting down there for over an hour. I'm always nervous when I have to call a tow truck. It's a very vulnerable position and there are many unsavory outfits looking to exploit the opportunity. I was delighted with the service I received from Payless. Nav was friendly, professional and went the extra mile to make sure that my car got out of the snowdrift and back down the mountain unscathed. Billing was fair, estimate was accurate and I would not hesitate to call them again if need be.
