I chose a career in Naturopathic Medicine because when I experienced a bout of debilitating illness, it was there to not only support and guide me back to health, but showed me that my well-being really was within my control.
I have been fortunate to work with a wide variety of patients with an even wider variety of health concerns. The real beauty of Naturopathic Medicine is that everybody can benefit - no matter what state their health is in. While studying at the University of Alberta, my interests in biochemistry, physiology, and nutrition drew me towards the philosophy of Naturopathic Medicine.

The staff are quite lovely, especially Natalie in the IV suite.
I went in for stage 3 colon cancer and I am unhappy with the care I received. I saw Dr. Colin twice, and by the end of the second appointment I still didn't feel like I had a plan of attack for my cancer care. I was also put on supplements that I didn't fully understand, one of which has nothing to do with cancer care and caused my skin to break out. When I consulted a different oncology naturopath, he had no idea why I was on it either and informed me it messed with my estrogen which was causing the emotional chaos and the skin issues

I've been seeing Dr.Patti for over a year now, and have NOTHING but positive things to say. I started with a basic consultation to discuss what my body needs from a vitamin and supplements point of view. We then began acupuncture to help with my severe carpal tunnel paint in my wrists.
What I love about coming to see Dr.Patti is her approach towards a healthy lifestyle. Obviously with her being a naturopath, that's her focus already, but I love the fact she explains things in a way that I can understand. I also feel like a person with her, and not simply a patient.

Patti Yik and Colin Race are THE BEST in Calgary that I have been able to find, and are more than worth the drive and money. Book an appointment today, and tell them I sent you!

They are kind, friendly, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I have always felt confident with their diagnosis and treatment plans, and they provide personalized care to each of their patients. So much better than being rushed through the normal walk-in clinic, where I get 10 minutes to discuss my one issue - they provide care for the whole person, taking my whole health into account to provide me with a treatment plan! Love them and recommend them to everyone!

The care and treatment I received from Vive Health were unprecedented. Dr. Colin and Dr. Patti used a collaborative approach to treat (and almost completely heal!) an ankle injury I had, as well as address a few other health concerns. They were compassionate, resourceful and attentive throughout the entire course of treatment and I couldn't have asked for better care. Both Doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their profession and I would highly recommend seeking their help for any health concerns.

I started seeing Dr. Colin about a year and a half ago for naturopathic care, and Dr. Patty shortly afterward for acupuncture. Their care and attention to patients is so comforting and supportive that I always leave feeling better than when I go in. I have sent many of my friends and family members to Vive for a variety of health concerns and will continue to do so. If you're looking for health care practitioners who will listen to your health concerns, and find and treat the source, this is the place.

I went to Vive Health looking for an alternative solution to treating a rare vascular tumor. I was not comfortable with what the specialist recommended. It was my first time seeing a naturopath. After only a few months of seeing both Dr. Collin and Dr. Patti, I noticed improvement in my situation and six month later doctors saw a change in my tumor. Now, almost one year later the tumor has decreased in size. This is due to Vive Health’s holistic approach to treating my condition. This approach has has also contributed to the overall improvement in my health and well-being.

Vive is a naturalpathic clinic that offers the best in treatment and care with a holistic approach. The doctors are genuinely caring and passionate about what they do. They care about treating the whole person and the wellbeing of each of their patients. I have been seeing Dr. Patti for the past 8 years. She has helped with regular detox programs, acupuncture, hormone balancing, conception, pre and post pregnancy programs as well as IV therapy with Dr. Colin. My favourite thing is that I always feel respected and cared for. I strongly recommend Vive to anyone considering Nathuralpathic care.

I have just started going to see Dr. Yik and I am very impressed. After moving to Calgary I noticed that my energy levels are seriously down and my mood is all over the place. I went to see a conventional doctor and after talking to me for all of 10 minutes she wrote me a prescription for anti-depressants! How can she just jump to conclusions like that????
So I have had 2 sessions with Dr. Yik and after a thorough medical history analysis she has developed a plan that had so many options for me to choose from so I could pick what fit my life. I am still waiting to be able to do some more testing

I went there once. They are pretty good to sell you stuff you don't even need and to tell you that everything you did in the past is wrong. They also give you a 6 pages questionnaire you have to file BEFORE getting there... I mean, I do not even know you.
People are very friendly, but it is really overpriced, they ask for all kind of lab test (obviously, not covered by any insurances of any kind). I do not know if all other Naturopaths are like that, but I was really disappointed. I wanted to try, since the consultation is covered by my insurance, but the protein shakes (43$/2 weeks, it is

Very nice people and lots of good information. I haven't tried the ND's yet but I talked to Dr. Race by phone and he's very helpful and informative. I like their RMT, Amanda - she's amazing. Very good and friendly but not too chatty if you don't want her to be. Nice ambiance inside and you can tell the people who work their like their work and each other. Free parking but parking is limited. Highly recommend!
