Dr. Haddad is great, but the lady at the front, Priyanka, very incapable of her job. She had to reschedule my appointment multiple times; she cancelled my appointment 3 times. She calls and leaves a voicemail, when I call back no response, no one calls back, no one hears the urgent messages left. They don't check their voicemail.
In addition, they charge ridiculous amounts. You would pay less going elsewhere.

I have been York Lanes Dental patient for 7 years now and I'm very pleased with the level of care and the professional dental services they provide. For those 7 years, I have been able to be in the care of the dame dentist, Dr. Alex and he is great and a wonderful person too. My dental hygienist Meagan is amazing. Her knowledge goes well beyond just cleaning your teeth. So I highly recommend York Lanes Dental to whoever is reading the reviews and wondering: "Are they any good ?" Yes they are.

Went for cleaning a few times, staff is nice and the appointments went well. The main problem was the constant sales pitches. They tried to convince me to get my wisdom teeth out and get Invisalign. The former was unnecessary and the second would not have fixed my teeth at all. It just seems they like to focus on money off you instead of your well-being and longevity of your teeth.

Avoid this place at all costs. Ignore the google reviews. If you want to save your money and your health avoid this money-thirsty dental clinic. I mean where do I start, dentist Dr. Haddad was just awful. Probably the worst dentist I have ever encountered in my life. He put me under 3 injections for nothing. He didn't even do one of the fillings and I had to pay extra. He ruined my teeth completely. I switched to a dental clinic in Scarborough and they fixed all of my teeth on the right side beautifully for a reasonable price. Not to mention, they did it in ONE day. This awful place is after

This dental office can improve by ensuring that the individuals who work at the front desk are caring, helpful, and professional. As a student that is new to York I was extremely hurt by the way one receptionist spoke to me after asking a simple question that wasn't common knowledge. Not only did the receptionist tell me that "Im a bad listener"… but she raised her voice saying that " I shouldn't ask questions like that here because theres nobody here to help me and to go somewhere else". Gave me a ridiculously overpriced dental plan for an issue with unecessary procedures. Left office in pain after screening. Did not like the over reaching personal interview with the hygienist. Some front desk staff exhibited poor communication and file mix up that resulted in prolonging my painful tooth situation. Would not recommend ever. Save your money and time!

For the past 3 years I have unintentionally been a cash cow for the sole dentistry on the York University Keele campus. I must admit that the easy convenience was a major contributing factor as to why I went, but, what is convenience when you're subjugated to the worst quality service? Please know that your YFS Health and Dental Plan WILL work at… better dentist offices. Also, there are certain dentist offices who are a part of Green Shield's "Student Discount Dental Network (SDDN)" where you can get up to an additional 25% off certain services, on top of the 75% coverage you have. Went in to book a 1st appointment, and was shocked by their policies. This dental office is obviously preying on students' lack of experience in dental fees, and their rates/deposits required are ridiculous. They told me the initial meeting appointment would cost $350, and that would not be covered by insurance. As they explained the process, it became clear that they would pile on unnecessary consultations as part of this initial appointment, and develop a "treatment plan" which would be frankly excessive. This place is what I despise in people. They are greedy. They are not honest. They will tell you that you need one million procedures just to get a little bit of your money. Just because I am insured 3000 per year, doesn't mean that they need to trick me in believing that I need more than what is required. Be warned guys, you should avoid this place.

I have never had a problem with this office and I have been coming here since 2007. In fact, I travel quite a distance to see them because I am comfortable with the staff and know they will do a good job. Wait times are minimal and I am a fan of the reminders. You have to keep in mind they are running a business and will call to remind you when you are due for a cleaning or have an appointment. Can't hate on them for that. Office is clean and modern and staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff here are fake-nice and you soon realize why: they are very very interested in fleecing all the money out of you that they can. Not only did they charge me a prohibitive amount on my first visit, but they worked out a plan for a second visit for very minor problems that they made me feel uneasy about and the bill for that plan amounted to over $400!!!

This is my dentist office and I should say I have full coverage. I am certain that I am scheduled for unnecessary tests and procedures because I have coverage for them. Dr. Hadad is the doctor I prefer here. Have had him for teeth extractions and fillings and he is quite good. He is very gentle and listened to me when I asked for more freezing. The office can be a bit annoying with the phone calls when I am due for a cleaning, however they send text message reminders which I like.

They charge me $300 randomly! I have CUPE3903 dental insurance, it could cover me up to $3000 dental cost, but they still charge me money with hilarious reasons, like: "sorry the system can't go through" "We checked your insurance status 2 months ago, but now I don't why they can't get proved.."

This place is sleazy. I was told I needed work done and there were two options - one much cheaper than the other. However, they recommended the more expensive one (of course) and guaranteed that it would be covered by insurance. I told them I did not want to go that route unless they were totally sure it would be covered, as I did not have the money, and was assured by the "care co-ordinator" that it would be. I've been here once. My mistake was not reading the reviews before I went. They did not give me a proper estimate, it was all over the place. I feel like I paid a lot more than I should have. I watched the CBC documentary and this place is exactly what they depict. I came in for a question, and was forced into an entire session of xrays. The lady dentist insisted i get invisalign which costs thousands just because my teeth were a little crooked. I was also told I had 10 CAVITIES! My teeth never hurt, they are never sensitive, I FLOSS EVERYDAY and I have been going to my family dentist since I was a kid every 6-8 months. The lady dentist also said I HAVE TO CHANGE MY SILVER FILLINGS and could not give me a proper reason! Silver fillings are much better than white because they last so
