It is very important to have regular eye exams regardless of your age or physical health. A comprehensive eye exam involves the assessment of your eyes for vision, health and how well your eyes work as a team. Measurements will be taken to determine the type of correction that is needed for the best vision and any added component to help the eyes work as a team.
Eyes are very fragile and care must be taken to protect them. If there is a reasonable chance of eye injury due to your activity then take proactive steps to protect your eyes and wear safety frames and lenses. We are able to treat most emergency eye conditions at our clinic such as you would receive at the Hospital Emergency department.
One of the most important things you can do to help maintain good vision is to have regular eye exams. Vision is one our most important senses and our eyes will not always become symptomatic when there is a problem. To ensure the health of our eyes it is essential to have your eyes tested routinely and not leave it until you have scratched lenses or even a broken frame to have your eyes examined.

Dr Nancy is patient and kind and spent the time I needed to try, I dont know, 80 different contact lenses. Lol! She answered all my questions and consistently does her best. I’ve never had such good eye exams. She never rushes me out. Her staff are knowledgeable and affable. I’ve never seen a medical prodessional who cares like Nancy does. I’m very happy with my prescriptions, and her advice

I have been with Dr. Sellinger for a very very long time. She is a very caring doctor and her staff are helpful at all times. I have taken my glasses either broken or damaged there so many times and they will always fix it without asking for money. From her years in Langley City to her now in Morgan Creek, Surrey, it has always been a pleasure to be with her.

My whole family is treated by Dr. Selinger...she is simply THE BEST...she actually takes time to make the best and most in depth diagnosis I've ever seen. I've been many places and they were fine....but Dr. Selinger is so far above the others, there is NO comparison! Any specialist she has recommended have also been at the top of their field and when it comes to eyes....you don't want to mess around!
There are no words that can adequately describe her level of service...simply OUTSTANDING!!!!

I went to see Dr S and she has been the first doctor to actually perscribe glasses that helped me see better. I've been seeing optometrist since first grade and just resigned myself to the fact that no one could fix my sight. i was there with my kids and asked her to give my perscription a try. she listened to me and descerned that i needed a prism to see. first one out of at least 15 doctors. Very pleased with her service. She was definitly not pushy. I love my glasses!
