Did not have a positive experience. Ordered a month in advance for my partner’s birthday (cherry cheesecake) and xmas dinner (white chocolate & cranberry tart) with high expectations but unfortunately the goods weren't edible and ended up in the trash can. They were extremely sweet and left a disgusting after taste. Pretty sad considering they were highly recommended.

Ordered 8 Witch Hat Cupcakes for a Halloween get-together, was able to pick them up the day after ordering and they were absolutely delicious!! It can already be difficult finding treats that are gluten free and vegan, and even more difficult finding ones that taste good. Definitely a 10/10 experience, all our guests loved them!

I'm visiting Toronto from Winnipeg for a week and decided to Google the best vegan places because Winnipeg doesn't have many. This place popped up, and I'm so glad it did! I went and got a peppermint hot chocolate cupcake, a chocolate cupcake, and a jalapeno cheddar scone. Although I haven't tried the cupcakes yet, they smell fantastic. I ate the scone and it was absolutely AMAZING. Definitely will be going again before I go back home!

This is my go-to spot for a vegan treat when I'm downtown! I try something different every time I go and have never been disappointed--cookies, carrot cake, and chocolate cupcakes are particularly stellar. Staff are always extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients as well, which my friends with allergies really appreciate. Cannot recommend Bunner's enough!

Junction Bakery that elevates sweets and cakes to awesome heights. Amazing Halloween items (that I will not post here), go take a look. Amazing expresso and coffee as well. Many of their items are available only on specific days, which adds to the fun as you wait in line and hope they won’t run out. Creative, fun and exciting.

I ordered a Galaxy cake for my child's party and it was incredible! Everything about it was perfect the kids loved the colours the icing was amazing and the cake was super moist and delicious! I picked it up from The Junction location and the staff were so nice and excited for us to enjoy the cake. Worth every penny I will definitely order from them again!

Got a birthday cake from here because I needed a gluten-free cake for a celiac. The service was great and staff fast and friendly. I ordered the classic funfetti cake.
The cake itself was ok, the products here are not just gluten-free but also vegan so they are dairy free which is what I think affects the cake flavour more than the fact it’s gluten-free. The cake part itself is pretty good but it is the icing or filling where you notice the taste difference.
Obviously you will pay for gluten-free free as any celiac knows so it’s not cheap however I wouldn’t expect it to be.

Excellent! Best gluten free, dairy free bread I've ever had (and I make my own and have bought many different commercial brands). Has great flavour and texture like regular bread. Awesome! (I bought the 3 seed loaf.) Jalapeno cheddar biscuits were awesome as well - not just because they were gluten free, dairy free - but they were simply awesome. Amazing cheddar flavour without using cheddar! Heated them in the oven at 250F for 15 minutes and they had wonderful! Had the iced cinnamon buns as well. Icing was very good. The buns were very good as well, better than other gluten free ones I've had

I’m a frequent visitor at Bunners Bakery. My daughter and I really enjoy their baked goods. I ordered their 6 inch Strawberries and Cream cake for my daughters birthday celebration and picked it up yesterday afternoon. A few minutes after leaving the store, our car had to suddenly brake and the cake got slightly smushed on both sides. I went back to Bunner’s in hopes that they would at least attempt to fix the cake (it really wasn’t a difficult fix), but the service I received was not up to par. I was told there was nothing they could do, as their bakers were too busy and the damage had happened

I am so glad they are open in COVID times. Capacity is limited, but it is nice to go in, and select what you want. I ordered brownies and no regrets. Staff is friendly. This is a gluten-free bakery. And to be honest, I don't recall how much I paid for these.

While I don't love gluten free baking, their chocolate birthday cake was fantastic, though at $60, very expensive.

Ordered half a dozen cupcakes came up to 27.50$ . All the cupcakes are specialty so I was able to try a variety of flavors.

The texture and taste is par with regular bake goods you don't notice that its vegan. It is a slightly more dense texture.

The carrot and cookies and cream were the winners of the bunch. Definitely worth trying for special celebrations.

Good cakes, cupcakes and treats and happy to have a vegan option though their items are on the sweeter side so I recommend you take your sweet tooth with you

I was disappointed. I came here with the greatest excitement because I was so happy to find a vegan bakery around town so I stopped by and I ordered the cinnamon roll and the raspberry squares. The squares were very tart and not really sweet like I wanted or expected. The cinnamon roll was pretty hard and not fresh tasting. I do understand I came towards the end of the day but this is a bakery. Everything should still be fresh tasting a couple hours later if it's a fresh batch which it should ALWAYS be fresh every day. Either way, I wouldn't come back.

Great shop for amazing vegan desserts. They claim to be Toronto's only vegan and gluten-free bake shop.
We got Vegan Chocolate Cheesecake from there and it was absolutely delicious. A bit too chocolaty if that's not your thing but otherwise it was great. The staff was courteous and friendly.
Definitely recommended.

Bunner's got me at Vegan Gluten free.

My bus driver could smell and tell that I went to Bunner's and was low key jealous, asking me what I got and what I should get next time!! Priceless!

Bunner's is a small vegan bakery located in Kensington Market. There was a 2-for-1 deal on cinnamon rolls, which the worker said was very popular, so we got two of the small ones for a little over $3. They were pretty hefty pieces with a vegan cream cheese frosting.
Both the cinnamon and cream cheese flavors were delicious, but the bread was so tough and dry. We tried to heat it up in the microwave, which made it a little softer, but didn't help much.

This is my all time favourite vegan dessert place in Toronto. I have come here for all my sweets cravings as well as my past 3 birthdays for treats. I absolutely love their red velvet cupcakes while my boyfriend really enjoys their berry crumble bars.

As many reviewers have mentioned, just because their treats are gluten-free and vegan, does not mean that they are healthy. They are definitely more on the sweet side and should probably not be consumed very often, as they are very sugary. Usually one visit to Bunner's satisfies my sugar craving for the next few months!

This vegan bakery has provided me with all the dairy and egg free treats I've come to need over the past couple of years. Their treats are just as delicious as any place that uses eggs and milk - so why not go in and try it for yourself?

Their cupcakes are a tasty treat. Their cinnamon bun is delightful. Just don't expect that vegan means healthy. These treats are chocked full of all the tasty calories you've come to expect and desire!

I have had a selection of vegan desserts before and majority of the time, they're overly sweet, the cupcake/cookie isn't doughy (maybe that was the intention) and therefore not my cup of tea. I got the red velvet cupcake here for $5.10 (they sell day old cupcakes for $3.00) and it was delicious. Not too sweet and the cupcake tasted delicious. They are also gluten free so I am not sure which flour they use but that flour works great. The cupcake and the icing complimented each other very well.

Note: Their ice cream machine broke.

1- Strawberry cream cheese cinnamon cake. Cream cheese strawberry frosting was ok but nothing that would make me come back.The actual cinnamon bun/cake tasted like it was under bakes and heavy.

2- chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting. So greasy !!! My lips felt like a just applied a fresh coat of the MAC Lip Glass Gloss. The frosting tastes stale like "fridge taste". I just paid 8.48 for crap and the "packaging" it's like they don't care.
