We originally came to be as Gropp Optics, founded in 1970 by Dr. John Gropp. After 16 years in the original location, Gropp Optics moved into its new location in 1986. Our practice has been located there ever since. In 2012, Dr. Gropp retired, passing the practice on to its current owner, Dr. Naeem Abdulla.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Summerhill Optometry. The optometrist is very thorough and I'd recommend Dr. Abdulla to friends and family. The best praise I have for the shop is their amazing selection of frames. They don't carry the normal retail brands you find everywhere else, they sell very unique, classy fashionable frames you can't get anywhere else. A+

Awesome experience overall. Efficient and helpful staff...and great experience seeing Dr. Abdulla. He's got a lovely style- very easy going and knowledgeable. He makes sure to take the time to please customers- he even called me a few days later at home check in about a teary eye issue I had been having! He also has a very nice optical, and I now buy all my frames with him. Have since referred many friends his way.
