Deerfoot City Optometry is a full-scope optometry practice that offers eye health care and eyewear retail services. Our mission is to develop personalized relationships with patients by providing them with high quality, high satisfaction, and individualized eye care and eyewear. The Canadian Optometric Association recommends an eye examination every one to two years for healthy adults age 20 to 64. This is important as eye exams can detect vision changes or problems - but also maintain eye health. Regular examinations are also important for the prevention of vision problems.
We provide high quality, unique, and affordable eyewear for our customers. Our eyewear fashion mavens will complete the customer experience by showcasing our unique blend of eyewear accessories that service one of our three core pillars of eyewear fashion - "the practical", "the chic", and "the funky."
There are a number of environmental and systemic conditions that can affect your eye health and vision in ways that may not always be obvious to you. I haven't had my eyes checked in a long time and I am so glad I chose to come to this place! All of the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable creating an atmosphere like no other! They had so much patience with me as I was very indecisive, never making me feel rushed or as though I was a pain. They walked me through everything step by step and made sure I was confident with my glasses choice when walking out of there. I highly recommend this place!!

Dr. Tracy Mathers was awesome, she helped clarify my answers making the eye examination so much easier.
Megan, Steven and Chantel were great at helping us pick out our new frames, although I spotted the frames I was getting for sunglasses the moment I walked through the door. They have so many beautiful frames to choose from, so we appreciated their guidance.

Dr. Matthew’s was incredibly thorough and informative during the exam, explaining exactly what was being done and why. The support staff were also VERY courteous and professional. Wow, I learned more about my eyes from one appointment here than my past 20 years with my previous optometrist. The service is truly outstanding! Dr. Mathew was so informative and attentive. Megan the Optician was incredibly helpful in determining the right transition lens and coating to help me see better. Thank you for providing all of the information and style tips to choose the right glasses for me and my husband. So impressed with the wealth of knowledge and wonderful service.
